🎸Luke POV🎸

I stared at Carrie as Reba and Taylor struggled with her. She was fading. Fast. "Give her to me. I'll swap, take my bow!" I thrust my bow into Taylor's arms. They handed me Carrie and I started to sprint.

I didn't want to see another sister, blood or not, die. Time seemed to stretch on as I tried to reach the truck. I finally grasped the handle before realizing the keys were in the back pocket of my jeans. "Hey, Taylor! Can you get the keys out of my back pocket?" She walked over and grabbed the keys.

She unlocked the car and stepped in. I laid Carrie down so her head was on Taylor's lap. Reba climbed in next to me. I flung open the door, Taylor passed me the keys, and I started the engine. We flew forward through the alley and down the road. I went seventy all the way back. I was afraid of a cop, I was supposed to be missing so that wouldn't go over too well.

Luckily for me, all the roads were silent at 12:00 at night. We had left at about 10. Finally we reached the woods and I tried navigating. I grabbed my walkie talkie from the dash. I gasped in one breath, "Alexas, Carrie has been poisoned. I need help to the Organization." I heard a click. "I will let them know and have someone come get y'all." It was Kimberly.

A few moments later, I saw a head of blonde, frizzy hair come over the edge. I was still creeping forward. She stood on the back against the cabin of my truck. I opened my window and she shouted directions at me.

We finally reached the long, stone hallway. I sighed on relief. Just a bit longer. I floored it through and the engine noise echoed all over the wall. "Hey! Someone's back here, y'know!" I heard Kimberly yell.

I slowed down slightly. "Sorry KP!" I yelled. I don't think she heard me, though. We finally made it. Slamming the car in park, we all jumped out and I grabbed Carrie from the back. She was lifeless, her skin was turning an alarming shade of black.

I tried to run but I was exhausted. "Luke, give her to me." Kimberly ordered. I knew I wasn't winning this fight. I had no idea how she was going to lift someone the same size as her. She lifted Carrie easily and ran. She was way faster and stronger than me. I froze, dumbfounded. I shook my head and ran while Taylor and Reba followed me.

We reached the elevator and scrambled inside. "Hospital!" Kimberly gasped.

The elevator moved and soon the doors opened. We surged forward. Suddenly, Alexas appeared. "Coming to see Lan.. What happened!?" She shrieked. I ignored her and pushed past.

I waited as someone hailed a doctor. I tapped my foot impatiently on the floor. It made a loud noise in the quiet hall.

Finally a random guy appeared. He had black hair and looked like he was from Spain. "Hey, I'm Francisco. Oh! Follow me!" He walked quickly. Was it really that hard to spot a wounded person! I thought angrily.

He took Carrie from Kimberly and laid her on the hospital bed. "You must all leave." He pushed the a red button on the wall. Lights flashed and a siren wailed. Suddenly, a horde of people in white surrounded the door. "Where do they get all these people?" I asked aloud.

"We get them from the government and hire them." Alexas said behind me, making me jump. "Oh. Ok." I stood in front of Carrie's door. It was now about 3 am.

"Wait, what were you sayin earlier?" Reba asked. Alexas stared at Reba. "And who might you be?" She asked rudely. Reba stood her ground, "Reba McEntire." Alexas stared for a moment. "I was saying that I thought you were here to see Lana." Even from across the room, I could tell Reba was confused.

"I'm sorry. Who's that?" She asked, her accent thick. "Lana Del Rey." Alexas said, leading Reba to a room. At that time, Neil walked in. "Luke, I'll stay here. Go with them and go get some sleep." I shook my head. To my surprise, Neil pushed me and I almost fell sideways.

"Dude! C'mon! What was that for?" I shouted. He looked at me. "Go with them or go to sleep." I sighed in defeat.

I walked down the hallway until I saw an open door.

Walking into the room, I saw a bed and people gathered around. "Why does this keep happening?" Asked Kimberly.

I shrugged. "I have no idea." I walked over to the bed. Lana was extremely white. I was so confused. I sat down on the chair and wondered what was going on and why.

The door opened and a man in a white labcoat came in. "Well, we are stumped. I am Dr. Hann. I am from the head of the science department." He had a bit of an accent that I couldn't place. "Well, it's not as if you haven't been stumped before." Someone growled. I turned around, it was Alexas.

"What does that mean, A154? You are still in my command. My most divine creation does not like me?" He growled at her. "So? Try and fix both of them! I don't care what I am!" They started an argument. "Stop!" I shouted, surprising everyone. "Stop fighting. None of this is going to help anything." Kimberly walked over. She squeezed my shoulder. "Not another word unless it will help either of them." She turned into her bulldog self.

"I will try and help. I don't know what more we can do." He walked out. Alexas turned and followed him. "Hey. Don't kill him. We need him." Kimberley said.

I sat down and my eyes closed.
