God why does she have to be so god damn beautiful?? (I know this is Amanda and not Mary but in a way we lost Amanda [a very important part of the fandom with an astounding 4 episodes] to the minds of Moffat and Gatiss).
This was a sad day for the entire fandom and it's going to break my heart writing about this. I must've drafted this on paper 7 times before I felt it was right for a character as good as Mary. This is hard for me to write - I know it's stupid but I get really into these fandoms - and I tried to make it as immersive as possible (shit's about to get sad).
I hope you enjoy the part. The fanfiction will proceed with Season 4 until the end of the Final Problem, and a little something something at the end. The fanfiction is not going to end SOON, but it's not going to end in a while either. I promise you, your reading will not go to waste.
R.I.P Mary 2015 or 2017 [I believe it was filmed in 2015 but we saw it in 2017 :(]
I cannot express how much time this part took me. I was working on it before I made the last 3-4 chapters XD.
Enjoy :)

"Surprise!" Vivian wickedly calls out as my mind begins to get foggy. Mary crashes into me, and my arms instinctively shoot out to catch her. It takes me a while to register what is happening, but eventually my mind catches up and I lay Mary down onto the nearby bench. There's already a large spot of blood in the middle of her stomach.
"Mary!" I cried out as I knelt beside her, using my entire hand to stop the bleeding. My hand began to get sticky and warm from the crimson blood invading the snow white skin of my best friend.
Mary was going to die.
"Mary!" I heard John's voice echo as he emerged from the end of the corridor, a look of horror and shock clouding his usually calm features. He knelt down beside the both of us and put his hand over mine, pushing a bit more, making Mary cry out in pain. Her entire body was shuddering and her breathing was extremely ragged, her body losing oxygen the more she bled and the more she breathed. She was suffering.
"Call an ambulance!" I yell, looking round to Mycroft, whose eyes are widened. He reacts quickly, jumping a bit in his step but stepping out of the room to call the ambulance. John moves his hand to the back of her head and I decide to step back, taking my hand off the wound. My hands are shaking wildly, the hands with Mary's ruby red blood staining them.
I back away, getting ready to run out of the room or launch towards Vivian and kill her myself, but I'm paralyzed. My legs can't move, my vision is foggy and my ears feel like they're filled with cotton. My cheeks are sticky with tears rolling down my cheeks I didn't even know where there until now. Sherlock senses my energy and wraps his arms around my waist, pulling me close as I sobbed into his chest while all the while staring at Mary out of the corner of my eyes.
"God, John. I think this is it." Mary sobs, streaks of her hair stained with blood as John strokes her face.
"No-no-no-no, it's not." John says, lifting his hand briefly to see the wound, grimacing as he did. He denied it, but he was the doctor here, he knew. We all knew.
I turned myself around so my back was to his chest and stared at the scene happening only a few feet away from me. I wanted to help, scream, move an inch, but again, I was paralyzed.
"You made me so happy." Mary says, shuddering in her breaths and staring deep into John's eyes.
She knew.
"You gave me everything I could ever... want..."
"Shh-shh." John shushed her, running his hand through her golden curly locks, blood staining the perfect corn yellow. "Mary, Mary..."
