"Hey! W-watch the light!" I yelled "Sorry sweety! Why aren't you in bed young lady?" Mom apologized as she questioned me "I couldn't sleep" I replied "there's so much to do at night" I told my mom "Six year olds are suppose to get there rest" she scolded me. "But, isn't there something we can do? So I'll get tired" I asked "well I would teach you magic, but you say it doesn't fit your fancy" she said disappointed "I just don't wanna start blinding my kids, you seem to enjoy that" I joked "it was an accident Maria" she giggled "I didn't know you were awake, how about i-" my mother was cut off from her sentence when a torch bashed through our window and started burning our house "MARIA RUN!" she demanded as she tried to cast the fire away, and I stood there in freight "MARIA!!" she yelled to get my attention. I shook my head to regain my thoughts and when I saw my mother she looked to the middle part of her body as a arrow was pierced through her body "m-mom??" I said with a ached heart and my mind was broken as she fell to the ground and flames covered her. "NOO!!" I yelled as I fell to my knees and sobbed. My eyes changed from blue to red as blood when I heard the monsters cheer that the witch was dead, they'll die, I'll kill them all. . .
As the man who fired the arrow stood in front of his admirers, they were thrown to silence when he fell over dead with blood coming from his neck. As I watched them stand in horror murmuring "its the demon child" over and over again "the child with the innocent smile" they said "the eyes stained with the blood of the innocents" they yelled. . . I giggled while smiling "blood of the innocence you say, I see no innocent people here, the only innocent one was my mother who you murdered in cold blood" I said as I gripped the knife I held, their screams felt pleasant

The town I walked through was mostly of men stareing at me. "Her eyes are as blue as heaven" they whispered "her hair as white as snow" the muttered "her smile as innocent as a rabbit" they said wishing I was theirs. I was stopped by a man who was older than me "hey little missy how about you get yourself and that rosy red dress your wearing to a tavern and let me buy you some mead" he flirted with no prevail as I smiled and walked away and he gripped my arm viciously "I wasn't askin' ya" he growled. I pushed him into the alley that was next to the house we were at and I held a dagger to his throat "and I'm not listening, now you get that big brown beard of yours and your torn rags out of my way" I threatened and he left, I walked out of the alley with the same fake innocent smile people liked so much. I went to a nearest place to get food, I was starving, luckily my friend Dove, who was a female chef who looked like a human. . . but she had cat ears. . . and a tail. But none the less she's my friend, and I'm not gonna tell you how I met her because, that's simply not important. She was a very successful cook.
I walked into her restaurant and she was serving food to her costumers, "hiya Maria! How are you?" she asked as cheerful as every "kinda hungry, can you make me something?" I asked politely "can I? Of course I will, I love to cook, what will you be having?" she asked as she took my order "same as always, Dove" I answered "Okie dokie it should be out in a minute" she informed as she dashed to her kitchen, I have to say I'm really surprised that she's this successful, she runs this place by herself and she doesn't hire any other cooks, and she cooks very quickl- "here you are" Dove said smiling as she just proved my point, I thanked her and she went to take some more orders. I stared at my crab salad and I remembered the night when my mother was. . . never mind.
I forgot to mention, all the main characters are semi-immortals, except regin, he's a complete immortal, but the threat that I'll put in this story won't be immortal, and no Maria is not the threat of the story, she affiliates with both sides, she's neutral
