I never thought I'd see the day where my own farther presents would be so distant
As the days go on all I can think is will I ever see you again
Will you be there to see me with my first real boyfriend, will you be there to walk me down the aisle when the time comes
I know I said I wanted you gone, but I just never thought that you would give up so easy
When you first started to drift away I thought it was a gift from God
All I wanted more is for you to be gone, I couldn't sit there while you tore my family apart
Now I see a piece of me is gone without you in my life
