"MISS WITHERSON!!!! NO ONE IS ALLOWED TO SLEEP IN MY CLASS!! YOU STAANNNDDDUUUPPP!!!!!"
Napaangat ako ng ulo mula sa pagkakasubsob sa armchair. I dreamed , again. That incident is always hunting me. And it feels like hell. I look at my teacher in front and he's very angry. His face is very red. Perhaps because of anger?
"I SAID STANNDDUUPP!!"
tumayo naman ako mula sa pagkakaupo. I look at him with my bored look that made him more angry. What? I didn't do anything-or not.
"Answer my question! What kind of species is Mudskipper?!"
I remained silent causing him to smirk.
"Look! Your sleeping at my class that's why you don't know the answer!"
"I just need to breathe for awhile because I need to back my senses." I answered boredly.
"Huh!--"
"And the answer to your question. Mudskipper are fish which, instead of retreating with the falling tide, usually remain on the exposed mud. They can breathe air and move quickly over the mud using their pectoral fins. They live on mud flats and mangrove swamps."
I stopped to breathe some air before I continue.
"Mudskippers are 5-12 inches long, almost tadpole-like with a heavy head and long body compressed from side to side. They could well be describe as pop-eyed, with their conspicuous eyes, placed well up on the head. These eyes can move about in all directions. The front dorsal fin is high and spiny. The pectoral fins are fairly large and somewhat limb-like. The pelvic fins are joined to form a kind of sucker. The color of the body varies from blue-grey to brownish, often with many small blue spots. The fins especially the two dorsals, are decorated with colored spots which varies according to the species. That's all"
Kahit hindi ako nakatingin sa mga kaklase ko alam ko alam ko na nakakanganga sila. That's one of my ability. To see things around me within 500 meter distance. Even though my eyes is only in one direction, I can see the things in my sides or even in my back. Yeah, sounds amazing but for me it's not. No one knows my ability except me.
My classmates clap their hands in unison and chanting their complement to me that made our teacher angrier.
"Quiet!!! Sinabi ko ba na pumalakpak kayo?! Huh?!" He shout that made my classmate to shut their mouth. "And you!!" baling niya sakin. "Kala mo sobrang galling mo na?! Napakayabang mo! If I know nakatsamba ka lang talaga! Huh!"
Teka ano ba pinagsasasabi nito? Ako nagyayabang? I just answer his question then he's now calling me 'mayabang'? Grabe pag nakasagot ka na pala ngayon mayabang ka na. Now I know. Please note the sarcasm. I mentally rolled my eyes to his statement.
"Ikaw lumabas ka! Hindi ko kailangan ang mga mayayabang na tulad mo."
Edi lumabas . I prefer that idea than to listen to his non-sense statements. It would be fun because it's the last subject for our morning period.
