She was an image that he created,a character of  the mind.

Her movements were swift as she gracefully danced, the moonlight shining on her (H/C) mane. He would always portray her in a gown fit for a queen, her hair in an elaborate style, and her hands intertwined with his as they rhythmically moved to the gentle orchestra. The girl would gaze into his forest-colored eyes with awe and verbally marvel at his appearance with a soft voice. Although he didn't know this girl, he felt like he was falling more for her each time she appeared.

However, it was like a Cinderella story—before his perfect night ended, something was there to always wake him up and pull him back to Earth and that was his real life. The girl living in his fantasies was unaware that she was trapped in the confines of nighttime dreaming. The boy would always hope that she was there somewhere, but the logical reality he didn't want to face was that she didn't exist.

Until now.

"My name is (Y/N) (L/N), the Ultimate Ballroom Dancer. It's an honest pleasure to meet you."

That was how she introduced herself to him. His eyes widened, recognition pooling into his mind; she looked exactly like the girl of his dream. The same (H/C) hair, same (S/C) skin, the same gown covering her delicate body, and the same (E/C) orbs scanning the person taller than her.

Suddenly,her voice cut into his mind. "Excuse me, but how long do you think you're going to keep staring at me? I have not received your name." Her tone sounded harsh, but a smirk of amusement graced her lovely features. He was extremely flustered, the mask obscuring the lower half of his face now making him sweat. The sight in front of him was what he deemed as true beauty.

A beauty he though only existed in dreams.

"My name is Korekiyo Shinguuji, the Ultimate Anthropologist."

The two of them became unlikely compatriots, and spent most of their free time together. "Shinguuji-san,have you ever danced before?" she inquired one day, and her friend shook his head no. "I'm afraid I've never had the chance to. However, dancing is a marvellous activity to watch,"he replied. The girl then dove into her thoughts and then asked,"Would you like me to teach you?" At this thought,the boy stopped speaking as he thought of the things that would happen.

I would be close to her.
We would be holding hands!
This would be like my dreams!!
Korekiyo,stop internally freaking out!!!

"Kukuku,if your heart desires it,then teach me your ways,"he confirmed. She ran through the basics and taught him some do's and don'ts. By the end of the day,he became more accustomed to it,and he went for a bold move. His one and only chance.

"Care for a dance,(L/N)-san?"he asked. The girl's eyes lit up as she took his hand and,without thinking of her surroundings,began to move to the music of nature beside him. The girl was in her A-game,her partner loving every single minute of it. Little did they know,they had an audience. When they stopped dancing,applause could be heard as they turned around to face some of their fellow students.

"Woah! I didn't know (L/N)-chan and Shinguuji-chan were good dancers!"
"Tenko thought you were amazing!! You should do more,right Himiko?"
"...I guess so."
"I didn't know you guys had it in you! (Y/N),you truly have a talent!"

The girl responded with a sincere bow. The boy,however,was struggling to contemplate of what just happened. Just then,the Monokuma announcement played,signalling that it was Nighttime. As (Y/N) and Shinguuji walked to their doors,the unexpected happened. The girl,on her tiptoes,kissed her friend's cheek. "Good night,Shinguuji-san. Thanks for today,"she told him,smiling as she closed the door to her room. The boy simply waved,feeling heat rush to his cheeks. He then went into his room,and then made a promise.

One day,my fantasy will become a reality..,
