Everyone at the funeral only had nice things to say.

'Baekhyun was so lovely, an absolute gentlemen'

'May he rest in peace'

All of these people were bystanders they had no idea what he was like behind doors. Behind closed doors he was a possessive phsychopath that didn't know what the word 'no' meant. How were you to mourn what had been when you could focus on what was to come?

Baekhyun loved you. You weren't sure if you loved him.

It had been a few days since the funeral had been held and you were the only one inside the house you and Baekhyun had shared. You enjoyed the silence, you enjoyed being lazy, you enjoyed not having to worry about anything.

Although you were now freed from Baekhyun's grasp, you had decided that tonight would be your final goodbye. You would finally have your victory laugh.

The air was cool and it reminded you of Baekhyun's cool demenour and harsh interior. He was sick. So mentally sick that it made you nauseous. He was just so good at putting up that act to disguise his true intentions towards you in public. At home, he was honest. Brutally honest.

The grave was freshly laid and your hands were empty. He didn't deserve flowers. Not from you.

"You sick idiot. You told me I'd lose, you told me that i'd never escape you. You're wrong-" You agitated tone was rudely interrupted by the deepest chuckle you had ever heard. You didn't turn, instead you waited.

"Even in death, my love, you will never escape me" Bony hands wrapped around your waist and pressed firmly into your hips. Milky white with greenish undertones was his skin. Death had taken him kindly yet his grip on you was eternal.
