It was like any other after tour party for Kayla, she would sit in the corner and quietly hum to herself since she wasn't interested in drinking to the point of blacking out.
"Yo Kayla, could ya do me a favor?" Chaz, kayla's guitar tech, said, walking over with a tall male.
"What's up?" She asked, sitting up some.
"My buddy Chris here needs a ride home. He had a ride but he ended up leaving. His place is like twenty minutes away though." Chaz said, motioning towards the male.
Kayla stood up, dusting her leather pants off.
"Yea, no problem, I'm ready when you are." Kayla replied.
"Now is great, I have to go to the studio tomorrow early." Chris said, offering a smile.
"Sure thing." Kayla returned the smile.
She led the way to the front door, pulling her bright red hair up in the process. Kayla pushed the door open, holding it for Chris who said thank you before following her to her car.
"Oh shit, nice Camaro, 1967 right?" He asked, looking at the solid black car.
"Yup, she's a beauty." Kayla smiled, running her hand over the sleek body as she walked to the driver's door.
She climbed in and turned the car on as Chris climbed in.
"Holy shit, you've kept this intact." Chris muttered in amazement, looking around as Kayla plugged her phone into the AUX cord.
"She was my brother's, he got himself an Impala and gave me this beauty." Kayla smirked.
She handed her phone to Chris.
"Pick a song out." She said, pulling onto the street.
There a little bit of a silence before the familiar beginning of Snuff came on.
"Good choice." She smiled.
"Oh, where's your place?" Kayla asked.
Chris told her his address, her knowing exactly where to go.
"You're the guitarist in your band right?" Chris asked, looking at the red head.
"Mhmm." She hummed in reply.
"Oh then I am correct in saying that you're the best female guitarist I know." Chris smirked at her.
She blushes slightly.
"Why thank you." She smiled softly.
They continued to chat, getting along easily.
Kayla parked outside Chris' house, climbing out to say goodbye.
"It was nice meeting you, Kayla." Chris smiled.
"You as well, we should hangout sometime." She replied, leaning against the hood of the car.
"I actually snuck my number into your phone." Chris smirked, pulling his keys from his pocket.
"Sneaky shit." She chuckled.
"Have a good night, thanks for the ride."
"No problem, you too." Kayla smiled, climbing back into her car and driving home.
(Five Months Later)
Kayla leaned against the side of the bus, smoking a cigarette as she watched the band members walk by.
"There's my favorite cherry head." She heard a familiar voice say making her smirk.
"Goth boy." She replied, stomping her cigarette bud out.
Chris walked over, holding a monster in his hand. He sat down next to her on the ground, putting his hand on her thigh.
Kayla crossed her legs, making Chris look at her in confusion then pull his hand away. He started mumbling under his breath as he stood up.
"Chris?" She asked, standing up.
Chris turned and started walking away.
"Chris." She said firmly.
He turned and looked at her.
"What?" He asked.
"What's wrong?"
"Nothing." He spat before turning away again.
Kayla ran up to him and grabbed his arm.
"What's wrong."
"I love you goddammit! I've been dropping hints for the past week!" He said, sighing afterwards.
Kayla's green eyes widened.
"Please say something, your eyes are driving me crazy." Chris stated, his eyes full of hope.
"I love you too dammit." Kayla smiled.
Chris smiled brightly, dropping his monster to pull her into a tight hug.
This really isn't quite what was requested but I felt horrible about making the requester wait so long for this.
