Ashton groaned as she entered the apartment.

Her day hadn't gone as planned and it definitely had a pretty rocky road to it.

She sighed as she closed the door behind herself, walking towards her bedroom.

"Hey babe." A voice said making her jump.

She looked towards the living room to see Devin sitting on the couch with his dreads pulled back in a make shift ponytail.

"Hey." She replied softly, sitting her guitar case down in the hallway.

"What's wrong? Your eyes look red." Devin said, watching as she walked towards the couch.

She sniffled, sitting down on the couch next to him.

"Just had a really, really shitty day." She sighed, rubbing her forehead.

"Talk to me babe." Devin said, putting his arm over her shoulders.

She looked at him before running a hand through her hair.

"I went to practice today and found out that my band replaced me with my ex boyfriend Dan." Ash said.

"Dan as in the guy who's broken up two bands in the past over a heroine addiction?" Devin asked, rubbing her back.

"That's the one."

Devin shook his head.

"I took the band's name with me, they wouldn't have had it had it been for me." She said.

Devin's eyes went wide, immediately thinking of an idea.

"You know what you should do?"

"What?" She asked, looking at him.

"You should start a tattoo parlor with the name, I know a place for sale down the street." Devin said, ideas running through his mind.

Ashton smiled.

"That sounds perfect." She said.

"I'll get ready, we're going to go look at the place." Devin stood up from the couch before practically running to the bedroom.

(Two months later)

Ashton looked up from the tattoo sleeve she had just finished. She smiled at her work before turning the machine off.

"Take a look." Ash said, grabbing the clear wrap from the tray.

"Oh crap, you're awesome." The man said, looking at his sleeve.

"Why thank you."

Ash quickly wrapped his arm up then checked him out before sitting down behind the counter.

"Tired?" Devin asked, smiling.

"A little."

The door bell rang making Ashton and Devin look up. Ash's heart drop the moment she saw her old band Nantes walk in.

"Hey ash, you accept walk in's?" Leon asked, looking at the art she had hanging up.

"No, I don't." She replied.

"Ah come on ash, do your mates a favor." Leon smirked at her.

"You're not my mates anymore." Ash stated.

"Don't be a party popper ash." Dan said, leaning against the counter.

"Get out." Ashton said, trying to remain calm.

"Why should we?" Dennis asked, crossing his arms.

"Because the four of you are a bunch assholes that backstab everyone and anyone."

Dan growled and raised his hand to hit her across the counter but Devin stepped in the way, glaring.

"You think about hitting her and so help me, I'll put you through hell." Devin said.

Dan rolled his eyes.

"Get out." Ash said.

"Bye bitch."  Leon yelled over his shoulder as the four walked out of the parlor.

"You okay?" Ash asked as the door swung close.

"Yea, how about you?" Devin turned to face her.

She kissed his lips gently before putting her arms around him.

"I'm okay, thank you Devin."

"No problem babe, I love you." Devin pulled her into a tighter hug.

Honestly this really sucks but I couldn't bear to keep this down for much longer. Sorry.
