~ Day Dreams ~

She day dreams,
Day dreams nonstop.
She imagines a world
That isn't real.,
That's fictional, nonexistent.
She does it so much,
It's become a problem.
She tells of fairytale creatures,
Roaming throughout her bedroom,
She tells of sea animals,
Swimming through the night skies
Out her windows.
She tells of hideous beasts,
Terrifying to the sanctuary
Of her bed sheets.
She's so whimsical with her words,
She's mature way beyond her age.
It often makes me wonder,
Why couldn't I have had that opportunity?
