Your POV

I just got some news. My best friend got into a car accident and is in the hospital. I went to visit Y/F/N. It wasn't good.

I came home. 

"Babe?" It was Ethan.

"Yeah it's me....". I dropped my bag on the floor and ripped off my shoes. I ran upstairs. I didn't want Ethan to see me cry.

I lied on the bed and pushed my face into a pillow and cried. 

Ethan's POV

I knew what happened. Y/F/N was Y/N best friend. I knew she was hurt. I heard the door slam upstairs. I grabbed a box of tissues and a fluffy blanket. I slowly walked up the stairs, trying not to make too much noise.

"Y/N? Are you okay?" She was lying on her side facing away from me. She didn't answer, just nodded 'no'.

I walked up to Y/N, placing the tissues on the night stand and tossing the blanket on the floor. I slowly got on the bed. I wrapped my arms around her and kissed her forehead. 

"It'll be okay. Shhh...." I whispered as she cried. " I promise. It'll be okay. Hush now. Shh.."

Your POV

His voice is soothing. Soon I cried myself to sleep. Ethan stroked my hair and kissed me. He made me feel loved and like everything was going to be okay. I turned my body and looked at him.

"I love you", I whispered. I fell asleep in his arms and he fell asleep.

I'm so grateful to have him.
