Buying a pet for your kids-G

(I know that Gray is allergic to animals with fur and stuff but let's pretend that he got allergy shots to help or get rid of them. Ok, enjoy!)

Your POV

Grayson and I have been talking about getting a pet for the kids. We both agreed that it would be a great way to teach them responsibility. 

I walk around the pet store by myself in one aisle as I look around for some pets and supplies. Gray and the kids were running around the store and stopping to look at some colorful fish or something else. 

Hmm... I wonder if a bunny would be nice...I mean it seems pretty easy right? Just train it to poop somewhere and stuff and its good to go.... I thought to myself. Little did I know Grayson and the kids had something else in mind...

"MOMMY! MOMMY! LOOK AT DADDY!", my youngest son, y/s/n, yelled as he pulled my sleeve to where he wanted me to go....

Grayson was standing in the store holding the biggest snake I have ever seen in my life. It began to wrap around his muscular arm and go up his neck. The worker was telling Grayson all the details he needs to know about keeping a snake and what not. But I was freaking out. There is no way in hell that I am letting that come into the house!

Gray's POV

THIS THING IS SO COOL!!!!! And I think the kids would really like it!

Then I saw Y/N come around the corner with y/s/n tugging her sleeve. Her eyes widened and stared at me. 

"Babe, can we get it!? PLease!!?", I begged. I already knew she was gonna say no.

"Yeah, please mom? We promise to take care of it", the kids said. 

She sighed, "Let's see. What does it eat and what does it's living habitat need to be like?" 

"Well, these snakes eat mice and insects such as crickets. You can also feed her frogs", said the worker

"Mice, crickets and frogs?! Do they have to be alive?.." Y/N asked unsure.

"No. But most people do feed them with everything already dead. But that's completely up to you."

"Gray, I thought we would get something cute and easy. How about a rabbit?"

"But mom!..." I whined. She get the look. The look of disapproval. I sighed. I handed the snake back the worker and thanked her.

" Ok, I'll make you a deal. We can get it IF you take care of it and it stays in the basement. And don't even think about bringing it to bed" 

" OK DEAL!" I say excitingly. "And don't worry, we don't need any other snake in the bed", I whispered to her and winked. 

"Very funny", she said. " But can we get a puppy?" she asked.

"Anything you want princess." I replied as I pecked her lips and earned a 'EWWW' from the kids.
