The next morning
Luna woke up when she heard the front doors unlock ,she jumped over into her kennel and made sure her door was locked. The clerk walked in carrying a bag of dog food ,she opened each kennel and poured a cup of food in each dish. She then put the bag away and grabbed bowls full of fresh water and changed them with the ones in the kennel.Then she dumped the old water.
Luna watched her movements as the others slept.
The clerk noticed this and looked at luna."i guess you'll be first."
The clerk then reached for a catch pole. She opened lunas kennel and grabbed luna with it. ,she then took luna to one of the tables ,she up luna on it then grabbed a hand held scaner , she scanned luna."no chip and no tags " she said as another person walked in.
"Doc , its got no tag or chip , you want to give it a full examination?" the clerk asked.
"Yes i'll do it " the vet said taking the catch pole off and replacing it with a leash."i'll check the others after" she said taking her stethoscope and listening for luna's heart.
The clerk then left into the kennel facility. That's when the vet grabbed a piece of paper on a clipboard and began to write things down as she looked over luna.
Once the vet finished she put luna back into the kennel , then placed the paper she filled out on the board attached to the kennel ,then went to get erebus.
Leo was now fully awake but he faked it watching their every move.
Erebus was being dragged out by a catch pole"I'M TOO YOUNG TO DIE!" he said as he was pulled away.
Leo just sat there death still as he watched.
"Leo you awake?" luna asked.
"Yes"leo said
" she doing a thorough check up on all of us" luna said."you should get ready for it."
"Wonderfull something i despise of"leo grimaced
"Yeah she will be taking temp,weight,and height, taking blood for heart worm test eyes and mouth etc. Basicly the full on vet check." luna said."but let me just say the worse part of it is getting your temp taken."
"I can imagine"leo said"wait, why?"
"Do you know how they take dogs temp?" luna asked.
"Well previously i wasn't a dog and never had one"Leo said
"They stick it up your tail end." luna said.
"Oh..."leo said with a sharp breath
"Yeah , you're up next on her list to" luna said. "Just go willingly and don't fight ,she won't use the catch pole then."
"I guess you're right"leo said getting up and stretching his fur bristling on end.
"I know so , i was the first to go in" luna said .
Leo breathed a sharp gruff
"What are you doing?" luna asked
"Trying to psych myself up . i don't know"leo said sitting down
" it sound like you're trying to bark" luna said.
"No, it was a intake of breath, it just means my mind in a million miles away right now"leo said.
"Oh i didn't know" luna said.
"It's ok, i just hate this" leo said
"I know ,but its what's happening ,atleast its not doctor wild." luna said.
