If you are reading this now you must want to hear, so I'll tell you. My story starts in the medium sized city of Grimsstone. We have a mall, about four banks, a downtown district, and well you get the idea. My name is Sniper LCM. Yes, a weird name for a kid ain't it.I've got blonde, burnett hair and brown eyes. My father's name is LCM, no last name or nothin. My mom's name is Alice Commins. I've got a girlfriend amazingly, becuase I'm so unpopular, hername is Alexa Monishi. She has dirty blonde hair and bieutiful green eyes, like emeralds and is 15 years old! Anyway... this is where it all starts.
"Sniper! Sniper! Get up it's twelve in the afternoon!", Alice started tuging at my sheets.
"Mom, five more minutes please!", I yelled back!
"No! It's Saterday and you should be at the mall or something hanging out with your friends!"
"Mom, how many times I gotta tell you I ain't got none!"
"Well, go make some! I'm doing luandry today!"
"Fine!"
I got out of bed and went to my dresser. I pulled out a hoody sweatshirt with my name writtin in graffitti like letters and a scope symbol above them. My favorite hoody! Then I pulled out some blue, baggy jeans. I put on a black beanie and my socks and shoes. Then I went down to have something to eat. Oh, I forgot to mention I'm 14, so I was pretty hungry not having breakfast and all. So I made a couple sandwiches, turkey as I recall, and went to get my bike. The Corvette was gone, so my dad was at work. I got my bike and peddled my way to the mall. Wait I'll stop and see my girlfriend and see if she could go with me. I stopped six blocks from te mall at my girlfriend's house and knocked on the door. I waited a few minutes and then Alexa's mom opened the door.
" Hello misses Monishi, is Alexa here?"
" Actually she's at the mall and said if you stopped bye to meet her at the pizza place."
" Oh! Okay, thank-you misses Monishi."
" You're welcome. Bye."
I got on my bike and rode to the mall. I locked it up on the bike rack outside and went inside and took a left at the entrance and sure enough, there she was.
" Hey Alexa."
" Hey Sniper."
" So what you wanna do?"
" I don't know. How bout we go to Styles?"
" Again! Don't you get tired of looking and shopping for clothing?"
" Never."
" Alright. I got nothing better to do."
We got up and walked across the halls and almost ran into some boy's and girl's from school.
" Hey, watch it you stupid retard!" , said the boy I almost ran into.
" I didn't even do anything you loser!" , I argued back half yelling.
" Hey, watch it Snipes or I'll teach you to watch it!" , yelled the other boy.
"Oh really! Come on then, I'm ready!" , I yelled back at him.
"Sniper knock it off and come on!" , yelled Alexa pulling at my shirt.
I walked away with her listening to the boy's and girls laughing and giggling behind me. We walked into Styles clothes store and went straight to the girl section. Alexa was looking at some halter tops. I saw a Television in the corner of the room with news going on. Normally I wouldn't care but something different was going on. The Anchorman was sweating and messy. He looked like hell I guess you could say. I was a six foot three inches so I stood on top of a bench and turned up the volume.
" There are infected people in the station, so I have little time to tell you that there is a virus making people turn into these human zombie things! They are spreading all over California! We are in Los Angles right now and they have taken over! Everybody who is listening to this get to safty, get guns, do everything you can to defend yourselves now! Don't let them bite you or don't get any blood in your system or you'll become one of them! Oh, God! They've broken through the door! Run!" ,and that is when the static came on. Holy Crap! I grabbed Alexa by the arm and pulled her out of the store.
"Ouch Sniper! What the hell are you doing?"
"Alexa, there is this virus that turns people into this zombie thing and there coming are way! Let's get back to my house so we can use my guns!"
"What? Sniper are you okay? You are starting to sound very crazy!"
"I just saw it on the news! Hurry, we have to get out of here!"
"Sniper calm down. I'm sure nothing is..."
She was interupted by a high pitched scream. We looked to where it came from and all these people where coming at us! Wait they were trying to get away from something! I grabed Alexa's hand and started running and she came without much resistance this time. We almost got to the door when I tripped and fell.
"Sniper!", yelled Alexa stopping to help me up.
"No! Go! I spranged my ankle and I'll just slow you down! Go hurry!"
She got up and ran with a bit of hesitation but made it out the doors. All the people were coming so I put my hands over my head and layed on the ground. All the people just trampled over me not even noticing I was there. When no one else ran over me I looked up and saw a bunch more but they didn't look like humans anymore.
Infected! I got up and limped to the sports store that was right by me. I picked up an alumnium bat and waited for them. Man they sure moved faster than a zombie. The clerk of the store was still behind his desk looking bewildered.
"What in God's name is going on out there." , he demanded rather than asked.
"Get a weapon there are infected people out there! There dangerous and will kill you! Hurry!"
He didn't really understand but he saw I wasn't really in the mood to be questioned, so he did what said and grabed a golf club. I could hear the infected running through the halls groaning and I guess in a sickly human growl. Just then I caught sight of the first one just as it caught sight of him. It came running at him and I swung the bat with all my might and hit the zombie right upside the head! The infected person hit the wall and fell to the ground with a cracked skull and blood running out all over.
"Holy Sht!", yelled the clerk.
Just then two more came running in. I hit one in the leg, hit the other in the face and then hit the other one again but in the head this time. Blood flew everywhere! Now my hoody's ruined! Great!
"Is there a back door to here like a fire exit?" , I yelled to the clerk.
"Yes, follow me!", he yelled back.
We backed up quickly, hitting and killing more infected along the way as they ran at us through the stores entrance. We got to the fire exit and the clerk opened it. An infected person came through once it was opened and the clerk went down with the infected person. I hit the zombie in the back of the head and brains and blood flew everywhere.
"Augch! You got blood in my mouth!", yelled the clerk.
Just as he finished the sentance he started choking. Then he started frailing his arms around and puked out a bunch of blood and guts. Then looked straight up at me! He came at me and I broke his skull and blood came out everywhere. I ran out the exit and sterted to run for home. Adrenaline was pumping through me so fast I forgot about my spranged ankle. Then an earthquake, or something close to that, happened. I fell down and a branch from a tree fell and hit me in the head and everything went black. Then a reddish glow appeared and without knowing I was doing so I walked toward it. What was it?
