When I awoke, I could smell the smell of bacon in the air. I got out of bed and noticed Kristian was out of bed. I walked out of the bedroom and saw her at the kitchen counter with a griddle plugged into the outlet. She was wearing a green halter top and blue bell bottom jeans. She had her hair in a ponytail. I looked out the window in the kitchen and saw that the water in the lake was still blood red. I also saw dead infected corpses but other than all that it was a beautiful day.

" Mourning sleeping beauty. Have a good nights sleep? You didn't scream this time." , she asked looking like nothing ever happened yesterday.

" Yes, actually I didn't dream at all." , I replied. I didn't go back to Hell or see Alexa die or nothing.

" Well thats good. Here's some bacon I found in the fridge." , she told me and put down six peices of greasy, crispy bacon.

" I didn't know you could cook." , I said tasting the best tasting bacon I have ever had.

" Well, I don't know why you thought I knew what kind of guns you where talking about at the mall but lucky for you I did." , she said back to me giggling a little. I chuckled a bit and ate the rest of my bacon. She sat down across the table from me and started eating her bacon. I went too the fridge and pulled out two more Shocks and sat at the table. I thought about what we should do next. I drank some pop and then got an saw on the can, made in New York City. I got an idea.

" Hey Kristian, do you think the virus is waterproof?" , I asked her and she looked at me like she didn't understand.

" I don't know. Why do you ask?" , she said.

" Becuase maybe we can get to New York and get into a plane and fly to Britian or some other place."

" Why don't we just fly to Japan or Russia from here. It would be a lot easier becuase we do live in California."

" We might be able to pick up more suvivors if we go the long way. Plus Britian would probally be more help 'cause New York hasen't been hit by the virus yet."

" That's true. Alright lets go."

We both sat and figured we raid the airport and see if we could highjack a plane. There would probally be a lot of infected becuase the airports are always busy, so we decided to find some suvivors in neighboring towns first and supply them with weapons.

" How old are you anyway?" , I asked her seeing if she was old enough to drive. She would probally be better at it than me anyway.

" I turned 16 last month, so I do have my drivers license." , she awnsered me and then looked up again and asked, " How old are you?"

" I'm only 14 and will turned 15 in two months." , I awnsered her. She looked suprise but then went back to eating her bacon.

" I guess I'm driving then."

When she was done, she put her plate in the sink and walked over to the steering wheel. We decided to go to a small neighboring town where there would be less of a chance of infected. She started up the mobile home and we drove across the bridge. It was a little bumpy because of all the corpses but she drove very well. We drove for at least 14 miles and saw a town. We ran out of gas about two miles from the town. We got out and started walking to the town with guns loaded. I strapped on my M1911's and grabbed my AR-15 and Demonic Katana's. Kristian grabbed her Glock 17 and a folded stock ten gauge shotgun. We walked into the town and there was nothing on the streets exept for an old Camaro and a rusty, green street motorcycle. We walked through the entire town and didn't meet anything at all. Then we heard a banging sound in a bar at the enterance of the town. We walked up to it and put our ears to the door and heard voices. Not the infected noises but actual talking.
