Fawnstars Death

Soon after we had returned to camp Ferncloud was called into the nursery because Fawnstar had fallen ill.I headed to the nurshery along the way I ran into sunfur and Flowerclaw "Do you know whats wrong with her?,  I asked them. 

"No we don't we were hoping that you might know what was wrong with her all we know is that Ferncloud said that she might not live through this.", Flowerclaw told me

"OK I'm going to go check on her.",  I replied.Soon I was in the nursery standing over Fawnstar "Hello Mothtalon I see you've heard that they said I might not live through this." ,Fawnstar said as she looked up at me with wonder.

"you'll make Fawnstar your kits need you.",  i said and looked down at Lightningkit,Thunderkit,and Floodkit.

"Yes but if I don't they're still to young to go without milk so I doubt they would live if I died.'

"Don't say that Fawnstar you'll make it!" , I told Fawnstar.

"But what if I don't Mothalon who will take care of my kits?!" , Fawnstar demanded.

"If you don't live through this I will take care of your kits Fawnstar!." , I told her and left the nurshery in time to hear the words "Thank you Mothtalon."

Later that night Mossfur came with the dreadful news of Fawnstars death.

"Fawnstar died of White cough it got to be too much that she couldn't stand it anymore." , Mossfur told us.

"So I guess Mistyfoot is our new leader now." , Flowerclaw asked.

"Yes she is and I have a feeling that she'll be a great leader just as great as Fawnstar was."

 With those last words I remembered my promise to Fawnstar and became determined to honor that promise.
