Kori shut the door behind her as she walked into Ravens room. Sitting herself down in the chair opposite Raven and crossing one leg across the other. Raven looked on still wondering what this was about. Was it a continuation of what Dick had said? She knew he meant well with his talk after he had scolded her for trying to read Bruce's mind. Nothing more needed to be said on the matter really. "Are you alright Raven?" Kori asked once she had gotten herself comfortable. "Yes, I'm fine. I understand what Dick was saying. And I know he understands that I can't always help picking up on things." Raven said in her usual flat tone of voice. Kori smiled and let out a small laugh. "That's not what I was referring to. Dick covered that his way, it is his family after all." Raven looked at her, now more confused than she was before. "Then I'm not sure I understand the question." She said. Kori leaned back in her chair a bit, thinking of the right way to approach the subject. "You seem, different, this morning. More contemplative than normal. Something on your mind?" She asked caringly. Kori was like an older sister to Raven, she'd usually confide in her when things were on her mind and there definitely were things on her mind, it was just, how to word it. Raven sat for a while and stared off trying to find the words to start with. "Can, can I show you something, telepathically? I can't think of how to word it." She asked eventually. Kori straightened up, shifting forward in her seat. "Of course, when you're ready." She said with a reassuring smile. Raven stood up and place her hands on Kori's temples and thought back to her dream. Vivid images of destruction filled Kori's mind as Ravens dream played out before her. This was the dream Damian had described to Dick, the destruction, pain, sadness and, to Kori's surprise, the same unsure feelings of affection for each other that they were struggling with. Raven stepped back confused, angry and unexpectedly happy. "Damian had the same dream?" Raven asked in shock. Kori opened her eyes and looked up at Raven. She sighed "It works both ways, I forgot." She said aloud, mainly to herself. "Yes Raven. Damian had the same dream last night and told Dick about it a few hours ago, before his father arrived." Raven looked away thinking about what this could mean. Did they have a connection mentally? Was it his dream that she saw or was it her dream that he saw? But the question that she asked was not the one she expected to come out. "Did, did he say anything to Dick regarding how he felt about me?" Ravens eyes widened slightly as a blush prickled at her cheeks. Why that question? Kori stood and put her arms around Raven. "Only that he didn't really know what he felt and that he was unsure on what to do. Both Dick and his father spoke to him about it but I'm afraid I don't know what they told him. But Raven, if you feel something for Damian, something powerful enough to affect your dreams and wake you from your sleep, perhaps you should speak to him about it yourself." She told the girl, pull out of their hug. Raven pondered of a second and turned to face the older woman. "Okay, I'd like to think about it for a bit first though." Kori smiled and pulled her in for another hug. She knew Raven wasn't one for much contact but she also knew that Raven was family to her and that she'd allow Kori the small gestures. "Just don't think too long. An opportunity missed is a regret that lingers." She said softly letting Raven go and making her way out of the room stopping at the door. "I'm heading out today to help Dick move his stuff into our apartment, mines all in but we haven't moved his. He has much less stuff so we should be done by tonight. I will be staying there though so until we're back tomorrow, you're in charge. I'll tell everyone else." She smiled and left, making her way down the hall to tell the boys in the living room. Raven sat down on her bed and thought on what Kori had said to her. Could Damian have feelings for her? She had gotten him a dog, and they got on great at the fair when they went. They had had a laugh by the mirrors. She found herself impressed with his dancing against Gar and had cheered him on. They had a nice chat while eating cotton candy. And their ride on the Ferris Wheel was good too, especially when they locked eyes for a moment. Raven quickly lifted her head and looked at her reflection in her mirror. With her looking back on their time together she realised, she did have feelings for him, strong ones too.
Damian was still sat in his chair but he wasn't twirling in it any more. Everything Dick and his father said had been true, or at least made sense. Could he really have feelings for Raven though. She was a good team mate, a better friend to him than anyone had ever been. He stood against his father for her, took on the Justice League both as themselves and after they became possessed, dove into a fight against Superman, with Kryptonite or not that was a pretty big deal, stood between her and his grandfather, spitting on his heritage in the process. He thought back to before then, at the fair when she had made him laugh by the mirrors. He found himself trying to impress her with his dancing against Gar. He had enjoyed their talk while eating cotton candy. And the Ferris Wheel ride he had enjoyed too, especially when his eyes locked with hers for a moment. Damian looked up to his bed, curled up by the pillow was a small black puppy. Titus, she had brought him Titus too. His heart skipped as he realised. Then a knock at the door. He sighed, rolling his eyes as he got up and opened the door. Raven stood blushing before him. "Can we talk?" she asked and Damian nodded and invited her in.
