Damian sat back down in his chair as he watched Raven walk over to his bed. She wore her black combat boots with a black frilled skirt, purple top and a black denim jacket. He thought she looked beautiful, the dark colours complimented her pale skin in a way Damian had come to find breathe taking. He looked away with a blush rising to his face as she leaned across the bed to pet Titus. "Hey there Titus, you comfy there?" She said to the black puppy curled up at the top of the bed. "He enjoys sleeping there throughout the day. Figure it's because that's where I normally lay." Damian said, keeping his eyes to the floor. "You wanted to talk?" He questioned as Raven turned and took a seat still petting the dog. "Um, yea. I have something on my mind and I'd like to discuss it with you." She replied sheepishly. Damian brought his eyes up to look at her, she seemed concerned, confused, almost scared and yet, if he was honest, also hopeful. "Okay, what's going on?" he asked as she fidgeted on the bed. Raven inhaled deeply through her nose and just came out with it. "I know about your dream last night." Damians face flashed with panic and then anger "I'll kill Grayson!" He all but yelled whilst bolting to his feet. Raven jumped up from the bed. "No, it wasn't your brother, it was Kori. She and I were talking in my room before she left for their apartment. We were discussing my dream, but instead of me telling her I showed her. That caused her to think of you and your dream because they were exactly the same and I heard her think it while we were linked and then I freaked out because I wasn't sure if I had somehow put my dream into your head or if I had connected with you in my sleep and seen you dream, or if it was all one big coincidence and we happened to have the same dream the same night and that's not even what I asked her after. I just stood there thinking about it blankly and spat out a question about you and what you of me, cause I have these feelings for you, I think, and she said she didn't kn... oh Azarath, I panicked and rambled too much. Forget it, doesn't matter. Um, im going to the roof." Raven blurted, barely taking a breath as everything she thought and felt came tumbling out. Blushing brightly, she started to run for the door but Damians hand grab hold of her wrist and pulled her back in close to him. "Raven, everything you just said happened between Dick and myself in the training room and then between my father and I here in this room while he was here. I don't know how we had the same dream last night. I don't know how to, deal, with these feelings. I'm not ignorant enough to not know what they are but this isn't something I was taught to handle while growing up with grandfather. I don't know, how to go about" Damian blushed as he looked away for Raven trying to find the words. Raven took a step closer to him also blushing as she stood squarely in front of him, only inches away. "I know what you're saying Damian. Not because I've read your mind but because I feel the same. I've never had these feelings for anyone else, never allowed myself to have them. You make me feel different, like I want to have these feelings. I don't know what to do either, where to start, how to move forward, it's all new. So perhaps, if you want, we can find out together? Together together, I mean." Damian looked up frowning, not angrily or annoyed like she was used to seeing but contemplating. She looked into his emerald eyes and know he was really thinking about it, this meant something to him and seeing it made her heart pound in her chest. "I would be honoured to take that journey with you Raven. I've been trying to curve my, well, anger induced out bursts and being around you has always help. Being with you would be a privilege." He said as his expression softened into one that not even Raven had seen before. A small smile was on his lips, eyes shined, brow slightly raised. He seemed relaxed, and she knew then that she didn't just have feelings for him, she loved him and he loved her. She smiled back at him, work her wrist out of his grip and lowered her fingers to interlock with his. Taking a step closer he brought his forehead down onto hers. "When did he get taller than me?" she thought as she rolled her chin upward. He touched his lips to hers as she pushed her lips into his. As they stood in his room Raven felt the electricity amplify in the room and she knew she would remember this always, their first kiss.

"Still running up to the roof?" Damian teased as their lips separated. Raven let out a laugh and playfully slapped his arm. "Shut up." She said softly. An unexpected knock rang through Damians room that made the pair jump. Letting out his signature sigh Damian walked to the door and opened it to find Gar and Jaime stood there. "Getting on good terms with the boss lady while the bigger boss lady is away? Congrates." Joked Gar with an eyebrow raised and a smug smile across his face. "What was that?!" Damian retorted through gritted teeth. "Not cool Gar." Inserted Jaime, turning his attention back to Damian. "Sorry, your conversation wasn't all that quiet and we had headed to you room at about 'talking to Kori'. Didn't mean to eavesdrop just didn't want to interrupt you talk man." Damian took in a breath and looked back to Gar who was rubbing the back of his neck, still with a stupid grin on his face and a nervous chuckle though. "It's fine, what were you coming down here for to begin with?" Damian asked. Gar straightened up and lost the smug look. "Your dads on the vid screen wanting to talk to you. Might be a bit pissed now because of the wait. Sorry." Damian squeezed his eyes shut mentally preparing himself for what his father could want. "Alright I'm going." He said with an agitated tone. He looked back at Raven and subtly tilted his head in the direction of the vid screen, inviting her to join him. She smiled back a nodded to him and followed down the hall. "What could be taking him so long?" Bruce thought aloud as he got himself more comfortable in his car aboard the Wayne's private jet. "Unknown sir, it didn't seem that far down the hall while we were there." Said Alfred from the drinks cabinet behind Bruce's seat. Bruce leaned back. "at this rate, we'll be landing before he" his sentence was cut off by the video call. "I'm here father. Sorry for the wait, the others didn't want to barge in on the conversation they'd unfortunately overheard us having. This is Raven by the way. She is." Damian was cut off this time by Bruce. "Yes, we met at the Tower before I spoke to you. Nice to speak with you again. I notice that the pair of you are far cheerier then you were, what, 9 hours ago?" Bruce smiled as behind him, Alfred straightened and turned his head toward the screen in amazement. Damian and Raven both blushed sheepishly as Bruce let out a little chuckle to himself. "As it happens father, yes, Raven and I talked about the subject you, Dick and I spoke about. I took your advice and Raven and I are, finding things out ourselves, but together." Damian said as Raven raise an eyebrow and smirked quizzically at the wording he had used. Alfred put a hand on the back of Bruce's chair and leaned down to his ear. "Did he just say that?" he whispered to Bruce. "It appears so." Bruce whispered back before leaning forward. "I can see you're already having a good impression on him Raven, so I hope to see more of you." He said. Damian puzzled over his father's words "what do you mean?" he asked not able to figure it out. Bruce laughed aloud "you just called Dick by his name, Dick, not Grayson like you always do." Damian looked over to Raven standing next to him, as she looked back she smiled at him. Turn his attention back to the call Damian realised that his father hadn't said why he had phoned to begin with. "Father, what was the purpose of this call?" he said breaking Bruce's laughter to himself. "Right, we've had to move the holiday plans forward. You coming over to Gotham in two weeks is now, you coming over to Gotham in four hours. Pack your bags. Dick and Kori are picking you up. I was going to turn around but he said not to bother as he had a plan in place, most of which I imagine is now pointless since you've done just fine on your own." Bruce laughed again knowing full well Dick had a planned to sneakily push Damian and Raven closer together. "Very well father but I would like to make a request." Damian stated. Bruce smiled and raised a hand off the table "I already know. And of course, my asking you to pack bags was meant for the pair of you. I've arranged a, sitter, for your team mates. He'll be there soon. See you in Gotham." With that Bruce immediately ended the call. "I think my father just invited you to our get together." Damian said as he turned to Raven who was wide eyed in surprise. "What do I need? How much should I bring?" She asked trying to hide the happiness she felt, and the small amount of panic. "Enough to see you through for a while. I know we're being collected in four hours but the gathering wont be happening for two weeks as it's a set date. This has Dick written all over it." Raven smiled as Damian unwittingly called his brother by his first name again. "Ok let's pack." She smiled, then stopped and asked. "Who's the sitter?"
