Xavier's Point Of View.

I watched the sun rise from the top of the club house. Today is the day we retaliate against Johnathan. This retaliation isn't a normal one, it's more personal than it's ever been before. Johnathan is a threat that needs to be eliminated. I was a little excited and full of adrenaline. I smiled to myself as I headed down the ladder.

"I figured you'd already be awake." Janessa said as she handed me a cup of coffee.

I laughed. " Mom you know me well. Why are you awake?"

" You're not the only one who's excited somewhat about today. Our family will be safe."

I wrapped my arm around my mother and hugged her. " I need you to keep them safe here Mom they don't know about the things that can happen."

She laughed. " Didn't Rayanne compare you to Jax teller? I'm sure she knows how bad it can get. And you should already know they are both strong and can handle more than you think."

I couldn't help but laugh, Rayanne really did compare me to Jax. She was right both of my girls were strong and could handle more than I probably ever could.

I headed into the club house and Rayanne was in sitting at the bar, stirring her cup of coffee. Her hair in a messy curly bun, and she was wearing one of her off the shoulder shirts with a pair of flannel pajama pants and some fuzzy slippers. She was beautiful.

" I expected you to still be asleep." I said as I sat down next to her.

She sent me a small smile. " you remember when I  compared you to Jax Teller?" She asked as she sipped her coffee.

I chuckled "How could I forget, you hurt my ego and insulted me all in one."

She giggled. "I know how retaliation works Xavier, it may not be exactly how it was in the show but I can get the basics of what's about to happen. I couldn't sleep once you were out of the bed."

"I can't protect you from this can I?" I sighed.

She laughed "You can't, but it's sweet that you're trying. I'll be okay, just promise me you'll come home to me. That's all I ask." She said as she reached for my hand and held it tight.

"Rayanne I'm coming home. We have a baby doctor to see. Aria to raise. I have a club to run. I'm coming home baby."

I watched as she let out a heavy breath.

I brought her into my arms and held her tightly.

"I love you." She said.
I laughed " And I love you."

It wasn't long before everyone was up drinking coffee and preparing for the ride. This wasn't one we were taking any chances on.

"Alright it's time to head out. I want this place completely locked down. No one comes in. No one goes out. You have five minutes before I leave." I said as I nodded and walked over to Rayanne and Aria.

"Alright Aria, you have to stay with mommy and grandma. No going outside no leaving the club house okay?"

"Um can I have ice cream?" She asked giving me a questioning look.

Rayanne and Mom dated to laugh.

" If mommy lets you sure, just make sure you save me some chocolate."

She smiled and hugged me tightly.

" I love you, I'll see you later."

" I love you too daddy! "

I then hugged my mom. " be safe and give them hell" she said as she smiled at me. This wasn't her first lock down. I couldn't remember how many we'd had over the years of my life, so many.

I grabbed Rayannes hand and walked outside.

"Stop giving me that worried look, I'm not going to break down when you leave. I'm going to the back room to work on some dances or homework. I've been slacking with both. And you told Aria she could have ice cream, I'm leaving her with your mother." I couldn't help but laugh.

" I love you. I'll see you tonight." I said as I pulled her into a deep kiss.

She held onto me tightly.

" I love you" she said back as she pulled away and laid her head on my chest.

I let her be until I saw everyone standing by their bikes.

I rubbed her arm and stepped back.

She sighed and gave me a smile, and I winked.

" Alright y'all be safe." She said looking at the guys.

They smiled.

I hoped onto my bike and out my helmet on. The Guys followed.

I winked one last time at Ray before I started my bike and pulled out.

Tommy and Dylan right behind me.

This was the day.
