Chapter 7: A Plan of Assassination

Where did you go? You were in the carriage?" I asked the young boy.

"I was worried about Lizzy," he huffed. A cute blush showing on his pale cheeks.

I smiled lightly at the young boy's display. "well that was a very galant thing to do," I giggled.

I looked behind me to see Finny and Bard giving me an odd look.

I realized that I had just smiled at the boy. When was the last time I smiled?

Why was it that I sympathized with this child and was becoming protective of him?

Elizabeth gave me a warm look and smiled.

"May I have your name so that I can thank you properly?" she asked.

"I am Mey Rin, Lady Elizabeth, though no thanks is needed," I assured the small girl.

"Oh I assure you that is false. You saved my dear cousin and I would like to thank you for that miss Mey Rin," she curtsied to me and I curtsied back.

"Alright, let's have some tea in the parlor and try to calm down a bit." Sebastian smiled helping Lady Elizabeth to her feet then helping Ciel up and escorting them to the parlor.

A thought bothered me in the back of my mind. It was something about those men. They seemed so familiar. Were They from my organization? Were they really after me?

I heard Sebastian speaking with Bard and decided to confront him about it. I went up and tapped him on the shoulder.

He turned and raised his eyebrows as of to say. "What?"

"May I speak with you for a spell?" I asked.

"What is it?" he sighed.

"I feel as if those men were my loose ends," I said.

"So tie them," he said trying to stalk off.

I grabbed his sleeve and made him turn around. "Are you really going to trust me to go out alone?" I narrowed my eyes in question.

"Oh trust me, you will return to us when you are finished," he sneered.

"Are you sure, I'm pretty good at hiding," I smirked.

"And I am excellent at finding," he leered.

"No, Sebastian it seems Miss Mey Rin will not be going alone," Ciel said casually strolling into the kitchen.

"And why is that young master?" I questioned.

"By order of the Queen I will be assisting in the taking down of this organization." he grinned.

"Fine then, we will leave first thing in the morning," Sebastian grinned at me.

At the start of the next morning I woke and packed a few essentials. Sebastian came to my room early and told me to continue to dress as a woman so that my organization would not recognize me. I agreed and packed the lighter of the two dresses and cleaned and dressed in the the dark blue one.

I donned a hat and gloves that Nina had left for me and walked out of my room. Finny helped me with my bag and jabbered about how cool it was that I got to go on a trip with the young master but after that I tuned him out.

He helped me into the carriage before helping master Ciel in behind me. Sebastian got settled in the coach and soon the carriage was moving.

"So what exactly did the queen tell you to accomplish on this endeavor and why did you see it fit to bring me along?" I asked making him smirk.
