Calvin's POV
Fortunately, I caught up with her and lucky to caught my breath. I found her sitting on a bench outside the Function Hall.
"Hey, mind if I sit beside you?" I said huskily. She looks uneasy and as if she's really waiting for me to come.
"What is it? Are you my stalker?" She said while taking few glances at the corner of her eyes.
"No. I just wanted to know you. Can we be friends?" I asked persistently.
"Okay, fine, sure. Thank you for saving me from those crazy monsters. I'm Samlone Alejandra."
"Again I'm Ca-"
"Calvin Morrison, it's nice to be friends with you."
Before I introduce myself again, she cuts me off, then she offered her hand for a handshake, which I would never refuse for she gave me her sincerest look. I was overwhelmed that she remembered my name.
After the introduction, strong silence reigns between the two of us. All of a sudden, I absentmindedly asked Sam a question she will obviously refuse.
"Will you be my girlfriend?"
"W-wait, what? Calvin, we just met.
What a ridiculous question. We're also too young for commitments." I didn't know that she will take my joke seriously, hahaha.
"I can't believe you fell for that. I was just kidding."
"Oh. Well, that wasn't very funny."
(2nd degree burn)

I have to break the silence.
"Now that we're best friends, can I have your number?" I gave her my phone then she dialled her number.
'number saved!'
"Best friends? [chuckles] Okay, then." Then she handed me her phone.
"It's really late. I'll walk you home now." Though I wish this night would never last.
I dropped her home, when we arrived she insists me to stay and have a tea, unluckily, I remembered that I have to go to Plaza Harmonica to watch Kim's performance tonight!
I start my engine not before my phone vibrates.
◽◽◽Phone rings... incoming call from Kallei◽◽◽
"Hello? I'm on my wa-"
"It's over, dude. The gig was totally over, about half hour ago..." He seemed to be total upset.
'I was out for hours!? I forgot about the time! But not about the gig.'
"Seriously dude, what's happening to you? What the hell is wrong with you for making my sister believe that you would watch her?!" I never answered despite of his aggressive tone.
"Keigh, is that Calvin? Let me talk to him, give me the phone."
"No Kim! He knows how important his presence for you! I understand that he had an urgency lately and I get that, what I don't get is he made you wait for him, Kim! He had an opportunity to confront you, but he never did. He supposed to tell you that he has no time to watch you at first, but he never told you Kim... And now, you're gonna hurt yourself agai-"
