We spent everyday at that jail visiting with him occasionally one of my uncles would show up as well but today was the day he was finally being released and I was so happy however since I've been skipping so much school to be with dad I was forced to go today so I couldn't go with mom to pick him up. All day I've been here with my legs bouncing or just tapping my pencil just waiting for the bell to finally ring and for me to be able to go home. When the bell finally rang I ran out to the parking lot and saw my moms car and I ran over there and saw dad sitting in the car
C- hey sweetie how was school
R- is that really the first thing you say to me
He just laughed and got out and hugged me
R- I'm so glad your out dad
C- me too sweetie me too
He kissed the top of my head then we all got back in the car and mom drove us to the house and the rest of the day was spent eating pizza and other junk while having a star wars Marathon it was the perfect family night.
