Its been a week since me and Cole started talking and I'm really happy its so nice to have my dad in my life and I'm glad my mom hasn't figured out were talking cause she would end it immediately. Today was the first time I was going to get to spend time with him by going to a cowboys game which made me even happier cause ive never been to one due to my mom hating the cowboys. My mom thinks I'm going to be with Alex all day so I had the ok. I slipped my jacket on so my mom didn't see the cowboys jersey I had on then I ran to the door.
L- slow down before you hurt yourself
R- your right I'm sorry
L- its alright sweetie have fun though
R- will do
I gave her a hug then walked back to the door and walked down the street where cole was parked
R- hi hi
C- hey sweetie ready for the game
R- yup
We drove to the stadium and the game was against the rams so it was in LA. The game was fun and it was nice spending time with him. When the game was over we went to buffalo wild wings and while we were eating the appetizers which was mainly mozzarella sticks and he was staring at me
R- do I have something on my face or something
C- no sorry
R- are you ok
He closed his eyes squeezing them shut and shook his head yes
R- I remind you of mom don't I
C- yeah
R- can I ask you something
C- of course
R- will you and mom ever get back together
C- I don't know I mean I would love to trust me but she hates me now and I've gotten to into drugs she wouldn't want to be with me anymore
R- what happened between you two anyway
C- long or short version
R- hmmm long
C- alright well before we even got together she had her heart broken by this awful guy cause he cheated on her so she was unsure to get in another relationship but she did anyways and I looked after her protected her making sure she wouldn't get hurt again but I started helping this girl out with music and it always took later then usual which made her grow suspicious but I promised her nothing was going on cause it wasn't but then one day the girl kissed me and before I could push her off of me Lauren walked in and there was nothing I could say and she left me and I've been a mess ever sense
I saw him shut his eyes every now an then as he talked
R- I'm so sorry
C- its alright but the break up made me differ to other things like drugs so I'm not exactly the same as I once was I don't deserve to be with her I honestly don't really deserve to be in your life but I need to be here I'm your dad after all
We finished lunch and then I went back home and my mom didn't look happy
R- what's wrong mom
L- explain this
She handed me a print out of mine and dads messages
R- why are you scoping through my stuff
L- sweetie I went to use the computer but you left this up
R- oh
L- so explain and better yet explain why you smell like him
R- c c cause I hugged him
I don't know if it was everything going on or the smell of him getting to her but she just turned around and went to her room. I soon heard light crys coming from the distance and I sighed. I can't believe I hurt my mom like this and I can't comfort her due to smelling like him. I sighed again and went to my room and just laid there in silence.
