Laurens p.o.v
I was dancing with cole to make rosalina happy and having our hands intertwined and having his hand on my back felt right just like it always has. I was looking everywhere but his eyes and he was doing the same thing I even glanced at luke a few times and he just smiled at me.
C- so what's going on with him
L- nothing
C- alright
L- nothing is ever going to happen and he knows it he's just a good friend
C- I believe you
L- ok
We kept dancing and every now and then he would spin me
L- you've improved you know
C- hey my partner skills were never bad
L- thanks to me
C- that's not the point
I couldn't help the giggle that slipped from my lips and he must've heard it cause he started smiling.
L- but anyways what was your point then
C- that together I'm unstoppable but alone I can't do anything right
He was looking in my eyes as he said that and I immediately knew he wasn't talking about dancing.

Before he said anything the song came to an end and it was time to continue the party like doing her gifts

He sighed and we let go of each other and we walked inside and she opened the gifts she had and cole got her an expensive looking necklace

She finished up and soon enough people were leaving and I heard Alex and rosalina talking while I was cleaning up with the guys help
A- my aunt is picking me up
R- I didn't even know she was going to be in town
A- I didn't either she just showed up this morning

I have always heard things about Alex's aunt but I've never met her. I walked to the door to take the trash out just in time for the aunt to show up. She was looking down at her phone

L- Brooke your Alex's aunt
She looked up and smirked at me
B- well well well long time no see Lauren how's cole doing oh that's right you wouldn't know cause I broke you two up
She started laughing I just dropped the bag by the door and told Alex her aunt was here and ran up to my room.

A- is your mom ok

I was saying goodbye to Alex at the door when my dad came in the room
