my eyes burned as the morning sunlight hit my eyes. I groaned and flipped the covers over my head to shield me from the bright light. ugh

"dan? are you going to school today?" mother came in out of the blue.

I whipped the covers out of my sight and glanced at mum with a frown, "no, there's nothing interesting for school today"

mother nodded understandingly, "okay well I'm going to work right now. don't make a mess and stop drinking my wine, Daniel" mother scolded before walking out the room

"okay bye mom, love you"

I sat up from my bed and tried to look around for my phone. I shook my covers and found my phone laying on the ground. I snatched it from the ground and laid down once again

I began scrolling through my social media but a text from louis popped up on my screen. I clicked on the icon and read the message

lou: hey are u home?

me: yeah why?

lou: can I come over rn?

me: lou it's like nine o clock rn

lou: so? I just want to hang out for a while

me: okay fine

I stretched my arms out and threw my phone across my bed, I mindlessly stared at the ceiling and began to map out my day

louis and I hang out for a while, online shopping, clean my room, see phil-

crap- i completely forgot phil and I were going to see each other today. what am I gonna wear?

I sat up from my bed and stayed in that position for a brief moment before standing up and preparing my covers- my movements were somewhat slow and lazy since I'm not exactly a morning person, but I tried to quicken my movements so I can get ready for the day.

I ran towards the bathroom and did my morning routine before running back inside my room and began to rummage in my closet for an outfit- but since louis is coming over, I didn't try to be pretty so I just picked out simple outfit of sweats and a black crop top hoodie.

and as always- louis came by on the perfect time.

I ran downstairs and opened the door for him.

"hey lou" I greeted warmly.

"hi dan, you look cute today" he beamed as he gave me a hug.

"thanks lou, you look cute yourself too"

louis smiled and playfully slapped my arm, "look at you being all cheeky" he giggled.

he closed the door behind him and the both of us walked upstairs to my room

"so why aren't you at school?" louis asked from behind

"I was gonna ask the same thing to you" I said back, turning my head around and giving him a raised brow

"I'm just trying to avoid someone today, but no big deal" he scoffed.

we made up to my room and lou crawled on my bed and laid comfortably.

"who you trying to avoid?" I questioned.

I sat one my desk chair and turned the chair towards him

he shrugged and pressed his lips together, "just some guy I like"

I began to look back weeks before and remembered he talked about some senior guy.

"Is it that senior guy you liked?" I asked, furrowing my brows
