Do you ever just need to cry?
Not for any reason,
Just to have the tears escape your eyes?
To feel them roll down your cheeks
As you look up to the sky,
Pleading for release?
You can't help but feel
It's not a feeling of sadness or despair,
But that you're not really there
An incoherent person searching for something
Coming up empty handed and filled with the feeling of nothing
And so for now I sit and cry
Wondering why these tears
Want to escape my eyes
