Not blind as in
I can't see
But blind like
I don't notice things...
Big things
Big. Obvious. Things.
I don't see things like
Being used as apposed to
Being appreciated
Or
I don't see flirting
I see extreme kindness
I don't notice liking
I notice friendliness
I mistake something simple
For something even simpler
And in the moment when
Everything clicks
It's an 'aha!' moment
When I realize that
These people could care less
About me
Or
When I notice someone has an
Interest in me (which I still don't get)
Or
When I finally see that what I'm
Looking for is right
In front of me
And I'm just not used to someone
Being so kind and caring towards me
I was blind
But now I see
