Dear Mommy,
The house stinks like garlic, cause Daddy didn't know how to make breadsticks with garlic. Yuck! I wanna puke now, cause the stink came into my bedroom. My tummy won't stop growling, cause all I hate was old pizza at school and a Pringles Pizza Stick.
Daddy turned on the radio as he cooked, and I can hear "Hey There, Delilah" playing. Mommy, did Daddy ever know how to cook well? Cause if he did, he don't know anymore.
Daddy showed me photo albums of you and him yesterday. There were pictures of you and him in the kitchen, or you cooking. I miss your yummy treats, Momma, and a year without you feels like forever. Daddy's still sad, but he misses you more than he misses your cake.
I think he's jealous!
Conner ignored me for the past two weeks. Tell God that I thank him, since Daddy says you're still on a little vacation. But why are you on a vacation with God? It feels like your cheating on Daddy by staying with another man... Dear G- Heavens, are you cheating on Papa?!
Mommy, I'll always miss you, even if you cheats on Papa. Conner said last month that Daddy probably ain't fun in bed. What does that mean? Bed is for sleeping, right.
Daddy said he'd explain the birds and bees with my Barbie and Ken dolls to me when I asked him about what Conner said. But I already know what a bird is and a bee is. Birds have beaks and eat wormies like Conner. Bees hurt you.
Mommy, what are birds and bees? Is Daddy not being fun the reason you went on vacation?
YOUR CONFUSED,
Opal
