Dear Beloved, Beloved, Beloved Mommy in Heaven,

I'm sorry, Momma! Please forgive me! Daddy is soo furious with me. Yes, furious. No not annoyed, no not angry, no not mad. Steaming! I didn't mean to break your necklace. I thought it was purty and wanted to wear it to school.

Remember those mean kids? One of them pushed me to the ground. I broke your green pearled necklace, but Daddy didn't listen to my story. I love you, and remember how I always told fake stories to get out of no-good situations? (I looked up the word). Well, Dad thought it was one of those times.

But Mommy, it's true! Conner, the bad boy, had been a little mad at his friend. But he didn't help me either. Momma, what do I say to Daddy to get him to believe me? He refused to talk to me, he locked me in his room, and I'm starving! Momma, help!

You do forgive me, right? PLEASE! Mommy, I didn't mean to. It was so beautiful. I love shiny things. My teacher punished Conner's friend if it makes you feel better... Daddy says I'll have to pay with my chore money to get it fixed.

Mommy, if Heaven has everything, can't you send us the money? To fix your necklace? I love you, Momma. Hope God is treating you real nice. Tell me if he isn't, and I'll be a big girl and kick his butt like the mean boys do to a lot of kids!

Please Forgive Me,

Opal
