Seventeen year old Emedee is the daughter of two inventors that have just discovered a revolutionary tool that could change the lives of everyone living in the Sanctuary and the reign of the Queen, putting the family in danger at once. Luckily for her, Emedee is sent away with only the recipe for the solution, four gifts from her friends Awesome and Colby, a priceless necklace, her weapons, and faith that she can complete her task to a maze of hedges for a year, abandoned due to a dangerous animal lurking in its shadows. But finding Cloud is not as simple as it appears, and Emedee will have to travel through the Coastline, her dream world, to get to Rainbow Vale, the only place with an estimation at exactly where Cloud is located. But traveling out of the Sanctuary is not as it may seem, and neither is the forgotten Rainbow Vale, and even Sunstone Valley has changed over the years.
