Nishinoya Yuu x Reader; Soulmate AU

Soulmate AU:
When you're born you get the first letter of you're soulmate's first name on your forearm, and it adds one letter for every time you come in contact with him/her until you figure out who it is when their full name is revealed.
You will know if it's their full name when it won't add another letter anymore.

"Ne, (y/n)-chan, do you know why you have that letter on you?" Your mother asks you as she brushes your hair. You shake your head. "It's your soulmate's name."

"Eh? My soulmate only has one letter in his name?" You quizzically asked your mother. "No, honey. It won't stay like that for long."

"What do you mean, mommy?" You ask. "When you and your soulmate come in contact, it will add one more letter. The next letter of their name."
Your mother stopped brushing your hair and set your brush down on your vanity. "Look, (y/n)-chan," your mother told you. She lifted her arm and showed you her left forearm. "Can you read it for me?"

"(d/n)." You said softly. "It's dada's name." You looked into your mother's eyes. "Kaa-san, will I get dada's name in me too?" Your mother chuckled. "No, (y/n)-chan. You will get your soulmate's name."

"Sow-may?" You stumbled on your words. "Sow-mayths?" You puffed your cheeks. "S-soul.. Thowlmathes!" You pouted. "Kaa-san! I can't say it!"

"You won't need to, when you meet them." She warmly smiled.

"Psh. Soulmate my ass." you mumbled. "I shouldn't have had my hopes up at such a tender age." You looked around your classroom, almost the whole class has found their soulmate, and just your luck, all the touchy ones were in your class. "Tch. Horny animals." You stood up from your chair and exited your classroom, taking your bento box with you. Any normal person who wanted to eat alone would go to the rooftop, but you knew better. That was a blazing hot spots for kinky couples craving a quickie. You would go to the back of the school, but then it would be worse. You cursed to yourself and went to the only place you can be alone- "Ah~ Not so hard, (Random name)-kuuun~" -restroom. "Now they're branching out. Hormonal teenagers." You go to the cafeteria, and slightly gagged. Every seat was taken, and every couple was there. Sucking each other's face off. You rolled your eyes and just walked out.

You look at your forearm and sighed. "Already in high school and still haven't had a single contact with my soulmate." You walked out and went to an outdoor vending machine. You got a drink you liked and just sat next to the machine and ate your bento there. 'Well my soulmate is taking his sweet time. Does he even have a soulmate mark?' You sighed to yourself. 'Welp. I guess I'm going to be an old hag and never meet my soulmate ever.' You thought as you bite into your octo-dog. You hear light footsteps nearing you. And then it stops. You look up from your bento. 'Is it-'

"Oh! It's you, (y/n)-chan!" A cheery voice greeted you. 'Oh. I thought..'
"Konnichiwa, Hinata-kun." You greeted your friend tangerine. "Eh? Are you eating on the floor?" He asked, brows meeting. "Yeah. I would much rather eat here than with touchy couples." You said. "Ah! I forgot you haven't met your soulmate yet!" Hinata declared. "I don't even think we're going to meet ever." You bluntly stated. "Don't lose hope, (y/n)-chan! You will meet him someday! Maybe just not now," he said. "Easy for you to say. You already know who you're soulmate is!"

"Ehe... Yeah but he's such a meanie!" Hinata pouted. "You know... I don't really see Kageyama being lovey dovey. It's just..." You remember his smile when he tried to return the notes you lent him, "weird..."
