Breaking: The Couple Who Came Back to Life!
After almost three years of being absent in Hawkins, the Abernathy couple were found alive but traumatized in an altered version of our small town. Their two children, Kevin and Lucy Abernathy helped their parents ever since that day, and are well today. The Wheelers are having a small reunion at Hawkins Park, and if anyone would like to visit the Abernathy family, they will be there!
(Third Person P.O.V)
Lucy hands her father the newspaper, allowing him to read the article on the front page. "Heh, looks like the Abernathy name wasn't forgotten at all." Mrs. Abernathy; who was making a carrot cake for the small gathering at the park, said, "Now, honey. Popularity doesn't mean a thing in this household. We all are rich in love, and happiness, and that is the only thing that matters. Right?" While the two were talking about non-important topics, Lucy walks up the stairs to her bedroom. She used to share this bedroom with her twin brother, Kevin, but her mother wanted the two to have rooms of their own. They both didn't like the idea, but went on with it.
She plops herself onto her bed, staring at the ceiling. "Kevin!!" She calls for her brother, who was currently talking to his girlfriend, Kendall. "Hold on, babe. WHAT LUCY?!" He yelled back, with a hint of anger in his voice. "YOU LEFT YOUR JOURNALS IN MY BOOKSHELF!" "KEEP THEM!" Lucy walks to her brother's room. "You sure?" Kevin sighs; "Yes. Now, could I talk to my girlfriend..alone?" "Fine. Looks like you care more about some bitch than your own twin. That's fine." She storms out of his room, leaving the boy looking like he was defeated verbally. "I'll call back, Kendall. Love you, cupcake. Bye." Kevin hangs up, staring off into space.
Lucy sits on her bed, tears trickled her Hazel-Green eyes. She then lies down on her bed, and begins to cry. Her mind closes the door, and locks it, preventing anyone from entering the room. Ever since that unfortunate day, things between Lucy and Kevin have never been the same...
Ever since that day, Kevin has become... let's say distant from his friends. Even his own sister. He sits with the jocks at lunch, but keeps quiet. Lucy on the other hand, has become the most popular girl in eighth grade. She has become friends with the powerhouses of eighth grade; Dan Howell, Phil Lester, Felix Kjellberg, Mark Fischbach, Sean McLoughlin, Arin Hanson, and Danny Avidan. Of course, the two are still very close with each other, and their four best friends; Mike Wheeler, Dustin Henderson, Will Byers, and Lucas Sinclair.
Little did the main six knew that their small town, would be Upside Down....
