Sakura's POV:

I turned in the mirror to get a good look at my outfit, it was a simple purple knee length skirt with a long sleeved black crop top. I rummaged around in some of my makeup drawers and found a white clip so I could have my bangs pinned to the side. I didn't feel the need to fully brush my hair so I just ran my fingers through it and threw on some black converses to go with it. I quickly went down the stairs and flashed them an apologetic smile, I knew I took a bit longer than they wanted. Deidara shook his head at me and he was the first out the door. "Does he know where it's even at?" I asked to no one in particular. I saw Kisame nod at me. I let everyone out before me so I could scribble a note down for when mother got home and also so I could lock the door. When I got done I noticed Itachi stayed behind to wait for me and I felt my heart flutter with affection. I was really happy we were kinda official now and I couldn't wait to make it know that he was mine. I jogged up to him and flashed a smile, one which he returned though not as big. Even his small smiles were something that made me giddy. Knowing that they were for me and me only made a sense of pride blossom in me and I hooked my arm with his. He stiffened slightly at the sudden contact but after a few seconds he relaxed. I wasn't used to this either but I was glad to be learning it with him. Me and Itachi walked pretty much at the back of the group, comfortable silence around us. Well not so silent in front of us, we watched Kisame and Deidara challenge each other to scores and we weren't even there yet. Sasori quietly inputting who he's be routing for, Kisame of course. I giggled at them, unhooking my arm from Itachi's and jogging to catch up with them. "Don't count me out!" I yelled, "I'll gladly beat both of you." They turned around and Deidara smirked at me, "Bring it Pinky, yeah?" His eyes shown a challenging stare to them and I laughed. He grinned at me and started running, "Race ya! First one there win the first of many!" I heard him laugh and I stood there clearly confused. "Oi! I don't even know where it is! No fair!" I yelled after him. I ran after him and tried to catch up. I saw a blue blur pass by me and my running faltered, Kisame. I sighed as I slowed down to a jog. There wasn't any winning with him running, might as well admit my defeat. I felt a hand on my shoulder and it was Sasori, "Least you knew when to give up, you wouldn't have won anyways." He said, brutally honest as always. I stood there for a minute, waiting for Itachi I kinda felt bad about just leaving him but I was challenged and I never back down from something I can easily win. Heh besides this race that is.

Waiting for Itachi didn't really take long and when I saw him approach me he raised his eyebrow. "I thought you were racing?" He asked me. I crossed my arms and started walking again, this time in pace with him. "I was but Kisame joined. Deidara I can probably beat, him no. Ugh, even Sasori said so." I ranted a bit and he nodded to let me know he was listening. We slipped into another comfortable silence and as we were walking every step or so I'd feel his knuckled brush against my fingertips and my face grew hotter and hotter. I really didn't know how to react, dammit was he going to hold my hand or not! My mind was buzzing and I knew Inner didn't appreciate my thoughts being everywhere. Oi, Sakura. Calm the hell down. Jeez, don't get so worked up over nothing. It's giving me a headache... literally. I heard her echo inside my head and I tried to slow down my breathing. It's just Itachi, you've walked like this before, even kissed him! Man up Sakura! I gave myself a little pep talk and decided to just go for it. The next time he brushed against my fingertips I was going to hold his hand. I was waiting but he beat me to it. I felt his fingers slowly intertwine with mine and glanced up to see a content smile on his face. I hid my small smile and we walked the rest of the way hand-in-hand.

The arcade wasn't that big, on one side of the building was the full blown arcade while the other contained the bowling alley me and Itachi went to. I smiled at the fond memory then grimaced as the note wriggled its way into the memory. I looked up at Itachi and he smirked, "Sakura, would you like to make another competition?" He asked me. Honestly, who would have thought Itachi Uchiha had a competitive side. I narrowed my eyes at him and looked at the multiple games, I caught a glimpse of Sasori easily winning things out of a claw machine and Kisame with Deidara at a shooter game. I looked besides them and smirked. I turned to him and put my hand on my hip, "You and me, skee ball." I declared. I saw amusement in his eyes and I walked over to the coin machine, taking my sweet ass time putting my allowance in. Blowing all your money on games... nice move Sakura I thought to myself as I watched the multiple quarters come out the bottom. I turned around and stuck my tongue out at him, I didn't want him to win this time! Childish measures were gonna be taken, take him down with cuteness! As I waited for him I noticed a certain loud blond enter the building's door. I watched as Naruto looked around and then turned around. I looked confused as Sasuke walked through with him. What? I though he wasn't coming? The thought crossed my mind but I dismissed it, he must have changed his mind. I glanced at Itachi who was still waiting for his quarters, I really hope tonight was calm with both of them here. "Hm, I didn't think he'd come." Itachi said next to me, startling out of my thoughts. "Should we begin the game I'll surely win?" He said to me, his confidence through the roof. It was about time I knocked that down a peg or two. I flipped my hair and put a quarter into the slot, I wanted to beat him so bad. I waited until Itachi did the same, with a glare sent his way the battle was on. We both kept our focus on targeting the big points. I steadily watched my score go up, I forced myself not to look at his score. Our ammo was running low and I could tell by his focus I was winning, but not by much. I grabbed the last ball and was about to throw it when, "Sakura-Chan!" A screeching voice startled me, causing me to drop my final ball. I heard the timer go out and my blood boiled. I was this close! I glanced at the score and I wanted to throw this ball at Naruto so bad. I could have won! Naruto walked up to me but stopped once he saw my expression. "Woah... uh bad time?" He scratched the back of his neck and I reeled my arm back. "Naruto!!!" I yelled, about to throw the ball when an arm caught it mid-action. My arm stopped and Naruto hid behind Sasuke, I slowly lowered my arm and put the last ball back. I noticed the air became more tense and I knew why. Itachi and Sasuke, both staring daggers at each other. I sighed, a normal night was too much to ask for wasn't it. I gave Itachi a look and grabbed Naruto, "Come on... Let's go play some games." I didn't bother hiding the tone in my voice, I wish they would just tolerate each other for one night. I didn't look back instead I took Naruto to the claw machines. There was a cute Sailor Moon plushie I wanted and he was going to get it for me! "Wah! Sakura-Chan! You want that one, but it's really in there!" He whined. I gave him a pouty look and grinned when he inserted the money. I took the one beside him and aimed for an adorable chibi cat plush. Of course I made sure mine was way easier to get out than his, and to my luck with only a few tries I got it! I cheered silently to myself and glanced over to check on Naruto, to my delight he was still trying to get me that plush. Ah so determined. I giggled at him, "Here let me try one time, you uh look like you're struggling over here." I said to him, he sent me a playful glare in return but I brushed it off. I guess claw machines just aren't Naruto's thing, mostly because on my first try I actually managed to grab it by the tag, thus winning. He sent me a grin and rubbed the back of his head sheepishly, "Guess you are good at games huh Sakura-Chan." I laughed at him and glanced over at where Sasuke and Itachi were supposed to be. I looked back at Naruto, "Where did they go?" He just shrugged his shoulders and started to look around. "Hold on, I'll be right back." I said to him and I went to where Deidara and Kisame were currently playing their shooter game. "He's really kicking your ass..." I mumbled to Deidara, it caused him to jump a miss one of the enemies. I laughed when he let out a defeated cry and turned to me. "Pinky! I was so close to winning, yeah! Wait- where's 'Tachi?" He asked, looking around me for him. I shrugged my shoulders, "I uh was kinda hoping you maybe knew," I sighed "But I guess not." I actually wasn't getting angry at this, I was upset. Upset at the fact that he let his little brother ruin our first date as an official couple! I felt a hand on my shoulder and looked up to see Kisame, "He'll show again, I know it." He flashed a toothy grin and I smiled back.

"I guess I better be going back to Naruto then- looks like he found the karaoke machine." I sighed and wonder why this arcade even had something like this! I looked closer and it seemed like you could win tickets, the better you do the more you win. Oh guess that's why. I walked over to him and he tossed me a microphone, "A duet?" I asked him. He shook his head no and the song began to play. "Naruto!" I gasped, I'm so gonna kill him when this is over with. The music started up and it caused a few heads to turn my way, I took a deep breath and sung.

"Miss Independent, Miss self-sufficient, Miss... keep your distance." My voice was smooth and to my dismay speakers were set up all over the place, even in the bowling alley part. God dammit. That means everyone can hear me.

"Miss unafraid, miss out of my way. Miss don't let a man interfere..." I attempted to block out the growing uneasiness growing in me, so I decided to keep singing. Surely it would help. I kept noticing the people were starting to stare at me, completely ignoring their games.

"No...miss on her own. Miss almost grown, miss never let a man help her off her phone!" My eyes went over to the door and I watched as Itachi came in and looked over at me, pure bewilderment in his eyes. Sasuke was the same, except he looked more surprised than anything. A rush went through me and I decided to get more into the song.

"So by keeping her heart protected, she'd never ever feel rejected! Little miss apprehensive," I locked my eyes with Itachi, "said oh, she fell in love." I saw him stop walking towards me and stare, while the others were gathering around me to cheer me on. I had to forget about him for now, just finish the song Sakura. The song got more upbeat and I began to dance a bit, swinging my hips to the steady beat. Or at least trying to. I took another deep breath and began to sing my heart out.

"What is this feeling taking over? I'm thinking no one could open the door! Surprise! It's time, to feel what's real!" By this time Itachi was at the front of the growing crowd and when I looked down, that same content smile was across his face. I held in my laughter and smile back.

"What happened to miss independence? No longer need to be defensive, goodbye old you! When love is true..." By this time it seemed everyone in the building was cheering for me but mostly I could hear Naruto shouting, Go Sakura-Chan!  It made me smile and when the song was over everyone clapped and I was really out of breath. I grinned at everyone and after a short while I got off the little stage and before I knew it arms were around my waist. "You were great." Itachi whispered in my ear. I smiled and felt his lips brush against mine. I wrapped my arms around his neck and a few fake gagging sounds where heard. Of course I missed the way Sasuke's eyes shot a glare at his show of affection.

He kissed you in front of everyone! That's yours! Inner shouted at me.

I know inner, I know. He's all mine.

(A/n: So April 15 was the 1-year mark for this story! I tried to make this chapter really long, I wanted it to be 6,000+ words but when I got to the ending I felt like it was a good place to stop it. The next chapter will most likely be my word goal so it'll take me longer to write. (If I'm not lazy.) But You can probably tell I tried to write more in here, I might revise this but I honestly don't know. Anyways thanks for reading this up to this point and I'll see you guys In the next chapter!! Also the song is up above if you haven't noticed. Eh if i got the lyrics wrong oh well xD)
