The next morning was the day before school started. People took everything a bit more seriously and spent time getting organized for the big day. I woke up at around 10 am, but didn't get out of bed until 11. I enjoy sleeping in and staying out late. With Paris in the bed across from me still sleeping, I decided to start my day. The school offers breakfast from 6 to 10:30 so I missed that. Paris and I decided to get a mini fridge and cupboard in our dorm this year since we both discovered how often we missed breakfast last year. I grabbed two clementines out of the fridge and ate them while picking out my outfit for the day. I chose a pair of pale pink running shorts with little blue anchors on the sides and a matching blue Sugarlips tank top.

I change into the outfit and finish an orange. I put my hair in two braids before finishing my breakfast. My hair stayed mostly straight from the day before so it was easier to manage. Today was going to be busy. I had to go to the gym, help Taylor figure out the main school building before tomorrow, get my schedule from the sophomore counselor, pick out my outfit for school, go into town to buy materials for school, meet Dylan to get our new ID pictures taken, and then eat two meals in between all of it.

Stressing, I brush my teeth in the bathroom that our hall shares. It a rather clean bathroom and only 6 girls share it, including me and Paris. I put on my natural makeup which only consists of concealer, mascara, and a bit of makeup to fill in the scar on my eyebrow. I grab my gym bag with my shoes and a water inside, slide on my berkinstocks and quietly open the door to escape the small room. I walk down the hall trying to clear my mind and get my priorities in order. I turn slightly left to the stairs and most people are leaving the dining hall or going to get their schedules. Since I'm not to worried about my schedule, I decide to leave that for later when the office won't be crowded.

The short flight down the stairs and the walk out the door of my building made me hope that nobody was at the gym. I crossed the street and walked past Building A where Taylor lives. The gym doors required the key card as always and I walk in the place that smelled like sweat and sounded like pain. The amount of people there was mediocre. Not too many but definitely more then preferred. Instead of complaining about the amount of people, I begin with putting on my shoes and start the thirty minutes of abs like I normally do. I have a schedule everyday and it mostly stays the same. Especially when it comes to the gym.

After my ab workout I move on to cardio and follow through with my schedule. By the time I get to weights the gym is more crowded. It has been a solid two hours and I needed to complete the last event. I was not as fueled as I was yesterday but it didn't matter because I am always striving to do better in the gym. I got through the weights listening to some music on my Spotify playlist.

Just as I finish with weights the gym becomes overcrowded and I couldn't take the amount of sweaty people in the room that felt to be shrinking. I go to the locker room to use the showers. I usually don't use the showers at the gym but since the year has just begun and they are as clean as they will be I decided to go for it. After undressing and setting a towel aside, I turn the handle to the cold setting, it increases your metabolism. I make sure to keep my face and hair out of the water, otherwise I would have to redo my makeup and fix my braided hair. I step out into the cold air and grab the towel to dry off. I feel fresh and ready to begin the busy day. I change back into the shorts I wore before since they weren't drenched in sweat like my tank top. I decide to just leave in my sports bra since its not uncommon, and shove the shirt in my bag before heading out the locker room.

As soon as I walk out of the gym, Quentin walks in and winks at me. Now at this point all I could do was smile because things were getting better. I felt strong today, I was confident enough to walk in front of all those people in only shorts and a sports bra. And I felt important, to one person at least. I keep smiling the whole way back to my dorm where I would change into a white v-neck t-shirt and apply more deodorant. It took no longer then 5 minutes and Paris was not in the room but somewhere out and about. I leave my gym bag in the dorm and grab my phone before leaving to meet Taylor in the lobby of her building. Her building is one of the smallest. Building B is the largest since it has two classes and Building C is slightly larger then Building A.
