Survival [UNDER MAJOR RE-CONSTRUCTION] {Incomplete}

Chapter 3

"Well if it isn't Chrone? What a loser. Why are you still alive?" Tech asks. I narrow my eyes at her before standing up and brushing myself off. I then turn around ignoring her comment and start to walk off.

When I see around three infected in front of me I groan internally before grabbing my bow and taking an arrow from my quiver. Aiming my arrow at the head of an infected I shoot and nail the bulls eye right between the eyes. Then I shoot the other two before going and retrieving my arrows.

"Hey wait! Chrone!" I turned around to face Ethan. God I hate him.

"What do you want?" I asked irritatedly.

"Well...that was pretty good. You should group up with us. So far it's just us two. What do you think? You in?" Ethan asks with a smirk. I roll my eyes before responding.

"I'm good but thanks for the offer." I say politely so I don't start anything.

"Oh come on! You could be a really big help!" He says like he is certain I'm going to join.

"No." I say plainly before continuing to walk.

"Yes." He says demandingly.

"No." I Reply a bit more irritated.

"C'mon let's just leave her. She would just get in our way anyways." I hear Tech tell Ethan. Smiling to myself because I know I don't have to deal with those two once again, I continue walking.

"Chrone." I hear a deep voice that seems as if it's right behind me. But before I can turn around I feel a hard hit against my head. And before I know it, the darkness engulfed me.

~Time Skip~
I wake up to feel muscular arms under my legs and back. It reminds me of my brother when he used to carry me to bed. I would pretend to be asleep so I didn't have to walk.

And with that thought, I feel safe with whoever is carrying me. But then memories of seeing Ethan and Tech flash in my mind and I immediately start to squirm.

"Stop moving." I hear Ethan say.

"Then let me go." I say while continuing to try and get out of his strong grip.

"No."

"Why not?!"

"Because then you'll leave and we sort of need you."

"No you don't!"

"Ya we do."

"Why?" I ask irritated.

"Because my sister went missing and we need help finding her." He said kind of quiet. I gotta say I felt a little remorse for the guy. But he humiliated me so much.

After my mini debate in my head I decided I would help him but only this once. At least I won't have to see him again after this.

"Fine." I told him. He was quiet for a second.

"Really?" He asked sounding hopeful.

"Ya I'll help but you have to leave me alone. And you can't ask for anything else." I told him.

"Deal."

"Why does she have to help us? Why can't you find someone else?" Tech asks annoyed.

"Because she was the person we ran into and she has good skill." Ethan replied.

"But I don't like her." Tech said.

"It doesn't matter what you like or not. Stop being selfish." Ethan said.

"Um...sorry to interrupt but um...can you put me down please?" I asked.

"Oh...right." Ethan replied whilst putting me on my feet. Finally.
