"Ahh~" I sigh in content striding with my bow in hand. "Isn't it nice today?"

"Tch nice? We can't even go 5 minutes without running into groups of infected and your going to call it nice?" Tech snorts.

"You just haven't learned to accept the fact that this is the world now." I simply reply.

"Uh-whatever. I have, it's you that hasn't."

"How?"

"You-"

"Would you two shut up already? Geez you guys are giving me a headache." Ethan proclaims.

"You always have a headache." I say rolling my eyes. Meanwhile Tech is practically on top of him showering him with apologies. Ugh. Now I have a headache.

And he says he hates her, yet he doesn't even make an effort to shake her off. He just looks the other way.

"I'm sorry Ethan but it was all that flat chested child's fault!"

"Would you shut up and get off! Besides you're the one that started it! Geez you act like I wasn't here." He says, now attempting to pry her off his arm.

Why do I always speak too soon?

"Gosh now you guys are giving me a headache." Henri adds with a chuckle.

I giggle at his statement and stride along feeling the breeze and letting nature surround me, turning off all my senses.

I breath deeply and search for peace. Letting the fresh air fill my lungs I breath out and imagine I'm with my family once again, and a bright light is shining on everyone.

It brings a true smile to my face. One that's genuine and one I only ever showed around my family. Because that is the only place I ever had respect. That was the one place I truly felt I belonged.

I was always taught you had to earn respect, not only by my family, but by sensei too. He said "Violence is never the answer. And if you earn the respect you deserve, these skills may never have to be used." I can still see his face clear as day, when he told us those words. Serious. Stern. Not once did our sensei show emotion during practice. But the strange thing is, outside of practice he was always so cheerful. Maybe he was like that only to show that what he was teaching was serious and not something for you to mess around with.

His words will always be fresh in my mind. No matter how long it's been. I can still remember all the pain I endured during training. How many times I considered quitting. But somehow, in some way, I still followed through.

"Hey Chrone! Are you even listening?!" I snap out of my thoughts when I hear Ethan yelling at me. For what though? God he's so irritating.

"What?"

"Why the hell are you crying?" He asks. I furrow my eyebrows and bring my hand up to my cheek, only to discover that I am, indeed, crying. I guess I went too far into my thoughts this time.

"Ah it's nothing." I reply wiping my tears away.

"It's probably because she realizes she can't have you." Tech says confidently. I snort at that comment. Then just start full on laughing when what Ethan said in the elevator comes to mind.

"Oh please like I would ever even want him. And besides what makes you think he even likes you?" I say in between laughs.

Tech snorts. "We're together all the time. And besides why wouldn't he want me? I'm gorgeous."

I couldn't stop laughing at this point which makes Tech even more infuriated. Gosh why is it so funny watching her be stupid?
