Chapter 11

I start to bang on the elevator walls hoping that someone will hear the racket I'm making. I'm already freaking out being stuck in an elevator and I sure as hell don't wanna be stuck with Ethan any longer.

I don't know exactly how long it's been since we got stuck but it feels like it's been forever. Literally I think I'm getting grey hairs.

"Would you calm down? Geez your giving me a headache."

"Then why don't you get us out of here?!" I shout in frustration.

"Like hell if I know how to do that." He mumbles.

"Then why don't you just keep your mouth shut because if I hear one more time that we won't be able to get out of here I'm gonna-"

"Your gonna what? Use your little voodoo karate chop-"

"Martial arts." I snap.

"Whatever. Listen shorty you may be trained in all that stuff but my size dominates all."

"Tch"

"And I hope you know that blah blah blah..."

Damn I should've taken sensei up on that Jiu-Jitsu training offer. But even then I still wouldn't be able to beat him. Probably just dodge his attacks.

"Hello? Shorty? Are you even listening?!" Ethan shouts waving his hand in front of my face.

"Huh?" I ask dumbly.

"Tch whatever."

I scowl at him. Geez why does he always have to be so rude?

I slump down the elevator walls once more sighing in defeat knowing that I'm probably not gonna get out of here any time soon.

"Please, please, please tell me why these things always happen to me?"

"What, can't handle being stuck with someone as sexy as I am?"

"Keh as if. I'd rather die then ever, ever, ever, say you were hot. So kiss the glory days goodbye old friend because the only person that'll swoon over you again is Tech." I state matter-of-factly.

He groans which makes me giggle.

"Why do we even keep her around?" He whines. I start laughing sort of confused at his funny(to me)statement.

"Wh-what?! I though you liked her and that's why you two were walking around together." I say in between fits of giggles.

"If were being all honest here I really hate the girl. And this may sound totally messed up but I was kinda grateful that this apocalypse happened cause I thought it finally meant that I never had to see that girls face again. But unfortunately she just had to find me. I was so pissed and tried my hardest to lose her, but she would always make her way back to me. I swear she's like a lost puppy."

I was truly shocked by his words. Not once in a million years would I have guessed that he hated Tech just as much as I did. But I thought wrong. I have to admit I have a new found respect for him. But something was still bugging me.
