Everyone in the venue are all holding their breaths, the Ninongs are anxiously waiting, Donya Mathilda is all composed, Gabriel was looking on and Richard Damian looking so worried...Brent: Nicomaine, please take this promise ring as a symbol of my commitment to you. I adore you Nicomaine. As everyone awaits for Nicomaine's answer, Marciano fainted...
Greg: Susmaryosep, Marcia, Marcia...aahhhh, Marcia.
Everyone panicked and Nicomaine went to his Ninong's side.
Niccolo: Tubig, kumuha kayo ng tubig..bilis...
A doctor and a nurse was present at the venue, they looked at Marciano, he suffered from dehydration and plus his blood pressure shoot to 200/100. He was brought into one of the guest room of the resort.
Richard: Else, mag-usap naman tayo, please, Else, please..Richard was pleading...
Nicomaine: Akala ko ba nagkaliwanagan na tayo, were over Richard, I've moved on..
Richard: Well, I haven't, I never stopped Nicomaine, I gave you the space that you asked for. I'm asking you to give me another chance.
Nicomaine: Magkakasakitan lang tayong dalawa, I have set my priorities, please stop..
Richard: I never stopped loving you...
Brent: Excuse me Mister, who are you?
Richard: Ex husband...
Nicomaine: Brent, can we just hold off on this matter, my Ninong Marcia just fainted, I need to see how he's doing right now. Richard, let's talk another time..

Guest room
Niccolo: Hwag sanang mahulog ang inaanak natin dun sa gunggong na yon, I don't trust that guy. Since she moved to Canada, hindi nya na tayo masyadong kinukumusta, she calls us once a week, dahil ba sa Brent na yun?
Greg: Hoy Niccolo, stop the drama, baka in love yung inaanak natin, we should let her be, she's old enough to know what's right and what's wrong...
Marciano: Aray, anong nangyari, anong ginagawa natin dito, di ba may party tayo...
Greg: Nag ala Lola Nidora ka dun sa wedding ni KS Alden and KS Maine..hinimatay ka, ano nang pakiramdam mo?
Marcia: Anong sinagot ni Nicomaine? Pakakasalan ba nya yung lalaking ubod ng yabang?
Aray, sakit ng ulo lalu kapag naiisip ko yung kanina...

Nicomaine heard her Ninongs sentiments, she has no intention of taking Brent's proposal, she just didn't want to embarrass him in front of the guests. She's not inlove with him.
She knocked and just pretended.
Nicomaine: Ninongs (she hugged and kiss each&everyone of them). How are you Ninong Marcia ?
Marciano: Okay na ako Nak, nainitan lang siguro, at napagod.
Niccolo: Magpapahinga lang ang Ninong Marciano mo, kami na lang muna ni Ninong Greg mo ang bahala sa mga tao sa labas..halika na Greg...
Greg: Nicomaine, isang tanong, isang sagot? Nicomaine nodded "ano bang relasyon meron ka dyan sa gunggong na yun, ha?!do you like him?
Niccolo: Greg, tumigil ka na dyan..halika na...
Nicomaine: Ninongs, sorry, sorry if I missed some occasion that we usually celebrate and, it's not because of Brent. Busy lang po talaga, Mama's own business, my paintings...I have so much on my plate, si Lola, she needed help, guidance dun sa ibang businesses nya...
Niccolo: We can always help you, promise namin yan sa Mommy mo.
She gave her Ninong Niccolo a big hug...
Nicomaine:I know, but busy na rin kayo with your own lives and yung gallery..
Greg: Nicomaine, gusto mo ba si Brent? Kung makakapit sayo parang asawa mo na, hindi maganda sa mata ko. Anak, mag-ingat sa mga linta, nakakasakit yan. Did you talk to Richard? Talk to him hija. You never updated us doon sa last na pag-uusap nyo, at bigla ka na lang pumunta ng Canada.
Marciano: Elsie, don't lead him on, hindi maganda yan? Think about it, yung mga lalaking gusto namin, always led us on, paasa palagi, end namin palagi sa kangkungan and just because we believe na gusto rin nila kami, wrong assumption. And please stop that "we're just friends" pero kung maglampungan kulang na lang humiga sa kama...and Nicco interrupted him "Marciano, hoy" ..
Marciano: Anak, we love you. We all aware kung ano ang nangyari sa inyo ni Richard, pero getting back to him like this...
Nicomaine: Ninong, I don't go for vengeance, hindi ko kayang manggamit ng kung sino para lang manakit. Brent is a good guy. It's just sad that people always think that what they believe or even what they hear is the truth. I don't want to misled anybody, even Richard, I don't want him to get the wrong impression.
Niccolo: So anong balak mo ngayon kay Brent?
Nicomaine: Tonight, I will talk to him tonight.

At the Beach:
Brent: So, how's your Godfather? Is he better?
Nicomaine: Much better, dehydration plus the heat, you know.
Brent: Else, what is it? You're not wearing the ring (puzzled) ok, let me guess, ahh, nope, let me say this, you are not that into me? I was just presumptuous and arrogant, ambitious...
Nicomaine: Hey, stop it. (She looked into his eyes and hold his hands) you're a good man and I know it in my heart. Yes, I just really want us to be friends and I'm so sorry if I mislead you...it's not my intention and I'm really sorry, I hope we could still be friends.
Brent: Well, I appreciate your honesty and thank you for not rejecting me in front of those people, that would be embarrassing...
Nicomaine: ( she smiled) Thank you Brent.
Brent: You're a beautiful human being Nicomaine, take care of you're heart.

Richard was watching Nicomaine and Brent from a far, he was worried, he's not sure if he's ready to lose her for good then Donya Mathilda showed up.." She never got over you, Mr. Monte de Villa, and I really hate you for that. I promised her mother that I won't let anybody hurt her only daughter. I can't protect her heart though, when you love someone, you are just vulnerable, stupid, may I say. This is her life, I can only do so much for her, it's still her decision in the end. A word of advice, listen to your heart, don't let anything or anybody dictate it, give it to the one it beats for.
