Chapter 17 - Feelings

The Lovely Ninongs had witnessed the warm embrace that Richard gave Nicomaine, the three of them can't contain themselves of kilig and happiness. They wished that Nicomaine will finally find her true happiness.... with Richard. But it's her choice to make.
Greg: Hwag na sanang mag-inarte yung ating dalaga at baka manawa sa panunuyo si Richard sa kanya.
Marciano: Sus, tama lang na suyuin nya si Nicomaine, sinaktan nya yung inaanak natin, Ilan beses ba nyang sinabi na hindi nya mahal si Nicomaine? Atat na atat syang humiwalay, naku Gregorio tama lang na mahirapan sya....
saka kung talagang mahal mo ang isang tao, kahit gaano katagal pa yan hihintayin mo. Kapag nanawa ka eh hindi mo talaga mahal. Di ba nga sabi nila, there will never be a closure if you will not confront your true feelings for each other. Para lang shoes yan, imbes na itapon mo, itatabi mo na kasi akala mo hindi na uso or hindi na bagay sa mga gamit mo...tapos biglang isang araw may binili kang bag, naalala mo yung old shoes mo kasi naalala mo yung style at kulay nya bagay pala sa bag mo...same with feelings mo sa mga naka relasyon mo, akala mo close na di pa pala kasi naghihintay lang ng right time kung  kakalimutan mo na or babalikan mo pa? Then dun mo lang malalaman kung wala na or outdated na sya....
Greg: Tapos na sa lollipop, sapatos naman ngayon,... ano ba, hindi be pwedeng period na lang, end of story, move along....
Niccolo: Well, they just have to be sure of what they truly feel for each other, period kung period, only the two of them can either end their story or continue with it.
Greg: Hindi ba pwedeng ma inlove ng hindi nasasaktan...
Marciano: Ako kaya, when will I ever fall inlove again without getting hurt at hindi mauubos yung ipon ko...
Niccolo: You just keep loving, one day dadating din yung taong para sayo.
Marciano: Well, sabi nga ng ating nasirang Amanda, don't give up on love, because love is the heart's source of life..kaya nga tumitibok di ba?
Greg: Alam nyo sisters I miss Amanda, siguro kung buhay sya hindi nya hahayaang mag-ka ganyan si Nicomaine.
Niccolo: If she was alive, she will take Nicomaine far from all this chaos, she won't allow  her to beg for attention and love...she tell her to wait patiently, parang sya, she waited for Gabriel to realized that he loves her, iyon nga lang she was never prepared when it happened...she's overwhelmed with joy, didn't realized na nasobrahan sya ng inom ng sleeping pills, Ohhh Amanda, we missed you Darling...
Then the three Ninong just looked at each other and promised that they will love and take care of each other no matter what, kahit pa magka-lovelife na sila...

Two days later the Ninongs left for New York..

Martino: Ano na ba ang balak mo? Babalik ka na ba sa New York? Anong plano mo?
Si Richard?
Nicomaine: I'm going back to New York, I still have pending work to do..
Marciano: Hindi mo na ba sya mahal or titiisin mo na lang muna?
Nicomaine: I wish I was like Mama, malambot ang puso, I wish I was as patient as her..I miss her pa rin Mart.
Martino: Hindi mo naman sinagot yung tanong ko eh, mahal mo pa ba si Richard?
Nicomaine: Not sure...
Martino: Nakikinig ka ba sa puso mo o sadyang ang tigas lang ng loob mo? Ewan ko na sayo...pinahihirapan mo sarili mo..

Richard paid Nicomaine a visit at their house...."Babalik ka na pala sa NewYork, I will drive you to the airport."
Nicomaine: Hwag na, Martino will give me a ride to the Airport, sabay kami ni Lola."
Richard: Thank you dahil pumayag kang dalawin kita, I will be flying to Malaysia, meron din akong i me meet na mga potential investors and client doon...
Nicomaine: Okay. Good luck.
Richard: I will visit you in New York after, pwede ba?
Nicomaine:I'm not sure kung nasaan ko, I could be in New York or Canada, si Lola kasi sa Canada sya naka base ngayon eh, I will be flying back and forth.
Richard: Are you trying to avoid me again?
Nicomaine: Of course not, I just don't want you wasting your time especially kung hindi ko alam kung nasaan ako if ever na bumisita ka.
Richard: It's not a waste of time, I want to see you dahil one month din ako sa Malaysia.
Nicomaine Elsa Monte de Villa, I love you and I will prove it to you that I do...
Nicomaine: Okay please stop with the kakornihan....

Airport

Gabriel: O mag-iingat ka, I will visit you in New York in a few months.
Donya Mathilda: Well, we'll be in Canada then Nicomaine will be heading to New York for her exhibits.
Nicomaine: I hope you can make it Papa sa exhibits ko..
Gabriel: Subukan natin yan..Ma, ingat sa paglakad...
Donya: Niccolo and I will go Japan for business meetings, sana makasama ka.
Gabriel: Let's see our schedule. I will call you Ma...
Richard: Else, take care and I see you in New York and I will try to attend your exhibits...
Nicomaine: You will be in Malaysia di ba? Ingat ka doon....
Donya Mathilda: All right we better go inside...let's go Nicomaine.
Nicomaine: Bye Papa (gave her father a kiss and a hug), bye Richard (gave him a kiss on the cheek) Richard pulled her closer and hugged her tightly, Richard whispered "I will see you in NewYork" ( kissed her gently in the forehead).
