CHAPTER 15

I ran down the stairs as fast as I could, the stench was horrendous, I reached the bottom of the steps nearly tripping over flat on my face, but nothing could deter me now...I looked around looking frantically, but saw nothing...it was dark, but my night vision made me see everything clearly..." ANYA ? ANYA my baby ? Where are you ? " I called out, my voice echoing against the concrete walls, I waited but received no reply. My heart was beating fast, every worst possible scenario was racing through my mind.." If that bitch did anything , I swear I kill her " I thought. Where the hell is she ? I thought looking around like a mad person, with each second passing by my heart was sinking.

Then I saw it, I saw the door,and ran over to it, I tried to open the bolts, but because I was so nervous and shaking with fear, it was difficult to open them. " calm down Maria, take a deep breath, and then start again " I told my self. I took a few deep breaths to calm myself and to stop shaking. " Maria take deep breaths, she is in there, I can feel her scent slightly, calm down and open them one by one " venus told me calmly, " okay ! Okay " I said whilst taking deep breaths. I reached again and opened the bolts one by one.

And the final one clang...I was finally going to see her, the tears already running down my face, I wiped them away with the back of my hands, and took a few deep breaths before I opened the door." Open it Maria, she is definitely in there, her scent is weak, very weak, but it's her " Venus told me but she sounded concerned and I picked up on that ." What is Venus ? Your hiding something ? What is it ? " I asked her with dread.

" I'm not sure Maria, there's something different about her scent, open the door Maria now " she ordered. I pulled the heavy metal door .. " damn it..why don't they have lights in here ? " I though angrily...I looked around and gasped when I saw her lying on the floor.

" ANYA ? " I whispered, she didn't move, I took another step closer, I didn't want to scare her, " Anya ? " I called out again, she didn't move. Something's wrong I thought and ran the next few steps to her, I kneeled down on the floor but I was scared to touch her incase this was all a dream and she wasn't real. I moved the hair away from her face gently, " oh my baby ? " a sob coming out " Anya ? Honey open your eyes ? " I said caressing her face, but nothing and then I heard Venus gasp. " w what is it Venus ? " I asked nervously. " Maria, it's her wolf, her wolf is leaving her body slowly, and ...and ANYA is going with her " when she told me I froze with shock, I couldn't move, I felt my lungs tightening, I felt I couldn't breath, I felt the walls closing in on me, I felt like ripping my heart out...." NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ? " I screamed at the top of my lungs, " NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO? " I screamed again, I shook her, I kept shaking her, " ANYA don't you dare leave me ? Don't you dare ? You open your eyes and you fight this ? " I ordered like an officer. " Maria ? Maria ? We don't have much time, we can save her but we have to be quick, there's no time to lose " she said hurriedly.

" how ? How ? " I asked her between sobs " damn it Maria, we don't have time for this, just go and get MARCUS " she said growling angrily. " M MARCUS ? " I said. " YES ! MARCUS ..go Maria if you want to save your daughter gooooooooooo " she hissed in anger and desperation. I put her head down gently and got up and started to run out of the room " MARCUS ? MARCUS ! MARCUS ? " I screamed his name out at the top Of my lungs, when smack I hit a steel wall, my head nearly spinning, I looked up to see Liam with a confused look on his face " Liam ? Liam ? Where's MARCUS ? " i said breathing heavily " I'm right here Maria ? " he spoke up, I looked at him and went to him, " it's ANYA, Marcus, she's ...she's..she's..." I was gasping, " she's what Maria ? calm down and tell me, she's what ? " he asked calmly. I looked at Liam and then back towards Marcus, " she's dying " I told them falling on my knees, they both gasped " nooooo? " Liam said before running into the room. Marcus ran In after him, and I got up again and went to the room, I saw Liam holding her head in his lap crying, touching her face, her hair, kissing her, " ANYA my sweet angel,wake up for daddy ? I'm here my angel, open your eyes angel ? " he said between sobs. I went to him and knelt down next to him, my own tears running down my face " oh moon goddess, her wolf is leaving her, it's dying, and she's dying with her " Marcus said in a horrified tone.
