A SHOCKING TRUTH

CHAPTER 21

Everyone was gathered around the table, to decide the future of both packs. Everyone looked at each other nervously, whilst Maria would glare at Snow occasionally.

" Okay, so we need to decide now what to do about the Blood Moon pack " Marcus spoke up.

" There's nothing to decide about that " Snow said.

" Well there is Snow, as you know that Liam was the one who killed Cai.....the Alpha so that rightfully...." He was cut off by Snow.

" No ! I have told you CAINE has an heir, so it makes no difference to whoever killed him " she spoke angrily while giving Liam a cold glare. " so his rightful place belongs to my child, only and only I can decide if I don't want that " she added coldly.

Marcus looked at her slightly annoyed with her but she did have a point and he knew she had that right and her child was the rightful heir.

" Yes I understand that but until the child grows up you will need an Alpha to run this pack Snow " he told her.

" I don't need anyone thank you, I am fully capable of running this pack until then " she told him coldly.

" Snow it's not that simple, I'm suggesting that until your child turns of age...." She cut him off again before he could finish and glared at him.

" I don't need your suggestions MARCUS, you might be the big bad strong Alpha MARCUS, but I certainly don't need your suggestions " she told him rudely.

He flinched at her tone trying to control his growing anger at her. " Snow just listen will you damn it "

Maria scoffed at that remark , which earned her a glare from both of them.

" Look Snow, this pack needs an Alpha even if it's a temporary one, but you do need one, yes I understand that as the Luna you are more than capable of it, but without an Alpha your pack will be in danger and become an easy target " he said calmly trying to convince her.

She sighed knowing that he was right, but the arrogant side of her didn't want to give in.

" I understand that..that's why I have a suggestion to make, and I think it would be the best for all of us in the long run " she said looking slightly nervous.

Marcus frowned, but nodded his head for her to continue, but he knew whatever she was going to say wasn't going to make him happy or anyone else at the table.

" Well as go far as I am aware, Liam doesn't seem too enthusiastic about becoming the Alpha, so why don't we offer it to someone else, some one I can be comfortable with, someone I can trust, not that I'm saying I don't trust Liam but to be quite blunt, me and Maria aren't the best of buddies " she said and looked at Maria with distaste, who was also looking back at her giving her dirty looks.

" Okay and who might this person be that you're suggesting ? " he asked knowing fully aware that he wasn't going to like her answer.

" Well, ummm...I think Lucas can run my pack " she said quickly.

" Lucas ? Have you forgotten his mated to my daughter now ? And what happens to her ? " Maria shrieked angrily.

Snow just rolled her eyes and shook her head at her stupidity.

" Well Maria I was coming to that point, even I know she is his mate now, so OBVIOUSLY she would be a staying with him as his Luna " she told he sarcastically.

Maria looked seriously pissed off now at her suggestion.

" No !!! That's impossible, it can't happen, I won't let it happen. I have just found my daughter back and you want to take her away from me again ? How dare you even think like that you..you..." Maria hissed.
