CHAPTER TWELVE

Nixie's POV
It's been two weeks and I'm ready for my one month scan, Luke has read a pregnancy book because he wants to be helpful but when he had seen the part were in the first three months the baby is very vulnerable you could easily lose the baby, so he's been very protective and I find it cute but sometimes it is annoying, I got up and got changed into some comfortable clothes and tied my hair into a messy bun, I went downstairs and had some breakfast, I went next door and of course the door was unlocked, I looked around and no one was awake, I went to Luke's room and he was asleep, I went to his clothes and grabbed him some, went to the window and opened the curtains the sun shone right on his face, he was groaning, I pulled the blankets off him, he opened his eyes to see me, he shot up

"I'm so sorry babe," he said, going his clothes

"Here," I said, he turned to me and grabbed them and kissed my cheek, I went downstairs and made him pancakes, I heard him come in he wrapped his arms around my waist

"What are you doing?" He asked, kissing my neck

"I'm making you pancakes for breakfast before we leave so sit down" I said nudging him with my elbow, he walked and sat down, I passed him the pancakes and syrup, I made some tea for both of us, he had finished and put the plate in the sink once we both finished our drinks we got up and headed to my car.

We are in the waiting room at the hospital in the maternity ward waiting for our names to be called

"Nixie and Luke Brooks," The Doctor said, we stood up and I looked at Luke, he just smiled at me

We went to the room and I got on the bed and I had to lay down with my legs up and a blanket over to cover me, I looked at Luke he was just looking at me up and down

"Does she?" he said, pointing down, I nodded

"Ok and," the doctor said, I gasped

"Holy shit" I sat on my elbows

"You don't give warning do you," I said, Luke was trying not to laugh at my reaction, I heard the heartbeat and I looked at the screen

"And there's your baby it's about the size of a poppy seed and will starting to form" the doctor said, she finished and wrote her notes down and the nurse past Luke the photos they walked out so I could be decent, I walked out to Luke and he was looking at the photo. When we got back to his he gave a photo to each of them and would not stop talking about it, he and Italia were looking at the picture and Italia ran home with James and came back with an album

"Mum can I give the album you made for dad to him" she whispered to me

"Yeah go on" I whispered back

"Dad" Italia said

"Yeah," Luke said

"This is your mum made it for you after you left a year ago," Italia said Luke grabbed it and started to look through it

"Is this Polaroid pictures of all the things I missed and ultrasounds of Octavia?" Luke asked

"Oh yeah it's her Ultrasounds things she achieved also things I did um Italia and Aspen as well," I said

"I like this picture," he said showing me one

"Really I look bad in that picture I just had a baby," I said looking at him he shook his head

"Actually you look beautiful," he said, flicking back through the album, I saw one I liked and showed him, Luke smiled

"All you together," he said looking at it

I heard a knock at there door

"I'll go get it," I said and got up to the door, I opened it to see someone I did not expect

"Sky?" I asked

"I didn't know who else to go to," she said crying, I grabbed her and hugged her, she was crying on my shoulder

"Oh Sky what's wrong?" I asked

"I'm better now but I'm alone I have no one when I gave up everything I worked my but off to pay for all the money I owed and apologised to people but the people who deserved the biggest apology was you and Aspen so I'm sorry," she said

"I forgive you, your like my big sister ok now come inside," I said, I linked arms with her and we walk into the lounge

"Aspen," I said, Aspen looked up and started to cry and ran over to Sky and hugged

"I want to say I'm sorry Aspen" sky said

"I forgive you ok I thought something bad happened to you when I didn't see you after I got Nixie out of that druggy house and helped her because we thought she lost the baby she was pregnant with" Aspen said Luke's head shot up when he heard all that, I sat Sky next to me

"Sky this is my daughter Italia," I said her and Italia said hello, I grabbed Octavia

"Sky this is Octavia," I said

"Is this the baby you were pregnant with when you left the house in Australia?" Sky asked I nodded

"Yeah," I said smiling

"And guess what," I said, I looked at her, she looked away from Octavia

"What?" She asked

"I'm one month pregnant I went to my first scan today," I said, she hugged me and Octavia

"Oh yay you know what I've been thinking is if I don't find a guy in a few months or by the time you've had your baby I'm gonna just make my life myself because I don't need a man for me to have and look after baby," Sky said

"I didn't have a man till I came here a few months ago and I looked after a six-year-old a newborn and I had to care for Aspen because it's unfair to take away her life when I had kids," I said

"Right guys I've got to take these two home," I said standing up, holding Octavia and Italia, Luke came over and took Italia.

Sky's POV
"Can I stay with you, Aspen?" I asked

"Umm" Aspen hummed

"You can stay here I'll stay in Luke's bedroom and you can stay in mine," Beau said

"Are you sure?" I asked him

"Yeah I'm sure," he said, Aspen and Jai stood up and went to Jai's room and Daniel also James left

"I'll show you to my room," Beau said, we stood up and went to his room

"Ahh, do you want a top of mine to sleep in?" Beau asked

"Ah if you don't mind that would be nice," I said

He went In his draw and past one to me

"I'll see you in the morning goodnight," Beau said turning to me

"Goodnight," I said smiling and slightly blushing.
