CHAPTER THIRTY EIGHT

Luke's POV
We were at mums in the kitchen, I had Octavia on my lap blabbering away about God know what and Italia was helping mum cook some muffins because she wanted to learn, Sky, Beau, Jai and Aspen were sitting with me, Nixie was upstairs with Denzil, Nixie came through Denzil was crying, I saw Nixie was too, mum rushed overtook Denzil, Nixie walked out, I past Octavia to Aspen and found Nixie outside, I sat beside her

"What's wrong?" I asked her

"I don't know how to help him he won't stop crying" she sobbed, I pulled her in for a hug

"You're a good mum he's obviously very different to Octavia she all calm and easy," I said, she looked at me and nodded, I wiped her tears

"Your right they do say that your next child will be the complete opposite to your other one," she said sniffling

"You better now?" I asked, she nodded, I grabbed her hands and helped her up, we walked in and Denzil was still crying Nixie went up and took him, she cradled him and rocked him side to side, he slowly stopped crying

"Denzil is annoying" Octavia whined

"Hey he's just a baby he probably thinks the same of you too," I said, she frowned, I picked her up

"Turn that frown upside down," I said in a funny voice, she started to giggle, Nixie walked over and held one arm out and Octavia went with her, Nixie went upstairs with both of them

"Dad" I looked to see Italia, I bent down to her

"Try my muffin I made it for you" she-she, I took it and had a bite

"Yum you definitely need to make more," I said, she smiled and ran back over to mum, I went upstairs to my old room and Nixie was on Jai's old bed with the baby's, I took a photo and posted it to Twitter

I bent down in front of them and Italia came into we sat around and talked actually probably the first time in a while, we were just together and as a family.
