Chapter 7

(Sophia POV)

I followed Chase scent into the kitchen, so I decided to go and tell him that I want to give it a shot at this whole mate thing. When I walk then I walked in the kitchen I saw Chase sitting down, with Sarah over him with her arms around his neck give him a kiss, I had to cover my mouth with my hands in order to not tell. I had to run out to the backyard, if I would've stayed in there for one will second my will took over.

"Sophia. over. here!!!" I look up to see Trent waving his arm for me to come over. My wolf and I really don't feel like talking to anyone right now but it comes down to controlling emotions I'm more better at it than she is, so he goes nothing.

"Hello Trent, how are you on this beautiful Saturday morning?" I said while walking over to him they faking a smile, which I can't say I make it look good.

"I'm good, how are you beautiful? Did you miss me?" Giving me a slight hug and a kiss on the cheek then I had a low growl, we turn our head to see Chase standing in the doorway looking like he was about to walk over to us. Just like that he ran to the woods.

"Sophia Go after our mate he's calling for us." howling in my head.

"I have nothing to say to him he was with another girl."

"His wolf told me that she snuck up behind him unexpectedly and gave him a kiss and he pushed her off as soon as he realized."

"How do you know if he's not lying, he may be our mate but I will be no one's toy."

"Earth to Sophia, Earth to Sophia!!" Getting snatched out of my unwanted conversation with my wolf. " The Alpha wants us to pair and groups of two after tuning ten laps around the field in our human form. Do you want to be my partner?"

"Trent you are a nice person, and we went out last night I had a nice time. Chase his my mate, I know I'm new to all of this but for what I do know is that mates you share a special bond. I want to give Chase a try, I don't want to confuse you."

"I understand that Chase is your mate, I'm already confused our. From day one I fell for you, if you have any money I'll always be there for you." With that he walked away. I'm not mad but for some reason it seem like you didn't care but whatever, he's a nice guy and all after spending the night with my mate I realize nothing else can compare to the feeling I get with Chase.

"Sop, can you contact his wolf to come back I want him to be partners."

"I would love to tell our mate and ask him believe the partner."

"Thank you!!"

"He's on his way he should be there any minute now."

(Chase POV)

I can't believe I have to go for a run, Trent need to keep his hands off my mate if he want to live.

"In less than a month we will become Alpha, and if you come get her and rip his fucking head off."

"Calm down little wolf, we will just kick him out the pack. We don't need him he's only been here for two months, we've done fine without him all this time and we will do fine without him."

"It will nice to rip his head off for touching on mate."

"I know," I said chuckling.

I made it to the lake and radical timing, then my wolf tells me that Sofield wants us to come back to her.

"Our mate wolf just mind linked me Sophia wants us to partner up with her for training, see she's coming around."

It's all I needed to hear the thought of being next to her, started running faster passing the trees that now looks like a blur as Im picking up speed with the wind blowing on my fur. Finally seeing the clearing where the rest of the pack is scratching before they start their laps. So I made my way up to my clothes, to sneak up behind Sophia.

"Guess who," I said while wrapping my arms around her waist, putting my head in the crook of Neck inherently her intoxicating scent.

"Harry styles from one direction," She said with a sarcastic tone making me give her a low growl letting her go, then going to Past her making my way up to the front. I look back to see her catching up with me giving me a playful smirk. Halfway through the lap Sophia is still by my side running in the front of the whole pack, my wolf and I are proud that I'm mate is strong. Harwol special so I'm not surprised that she can keep up, after we finished running our laps we went to the table to grab a cup of water waiting for everyone to finish. My sister Stephanie came walking up to me, I feel bad that I have a new partner and I can just say no to my mate after me a separate it for her for over two years. Stephanie and I have always trying to pack in human form, by my father being the Alpha there's always threats on our lives so my father always wanted to make sure that we were prepared just in case anything ever happened.

"Chase are you ready, i've been practicing the moves that you taught me last saturday and I really think I got them down pack." After she finished she show me the moves and I couldn't help but feel guilty.

"Stephanie I'm sorry Sophia asked me to be her partner."

"It's okay she's your mate, I know that you will want to train with her is just that I don't have anyone to train with, and I don't want to train with father he he expects too much out of me and I haven't even went through my first transformation yet." As she was talking I could see her smile faded because I know just how hard it was training with father before my first transformation.

"Stephanie it's okay I can train with with your father he supposed to teach me about my walk after training, I.." For she could finish what she was saying she was cut off by Trent.

"It's okay Sophia I train with Stephanie, don't feel bad you didn't know that he trains her." He said while walking towards Stephanie side. There was something in the way he smiled that pissed me off, he actually looked like he may care for her.

"Don't worry about Trent I'll train to both of them," you said grabbing both Stephanie and Sophia wrist, looking up to see Trent have a frowning before my sister pulling away from me walking over to Trent.

"It's okay chase you can train with your mate, I will train with Trent." He for I can protest she grabbed his wrist and walked away, i'm really getting tired of Trent I don't know what's up with him. I will be damn if I let my sister fall for A player he just took her best friend not to mention my mate on a date last night, now he's trying out like you care about my sister. I'm really going to kick his ass out the pack when I become Alpha.
