Ella's POV

"So. Care to explain?" I. Have. No. Idea. What's. Going. On.

"Can we just... sit down? Unless you want to talk right in front of the door where anyone could pop up at any given time" She says, with a sly smile on her lips.

"Ughh, fine" I say, resigned, as I lead her to my bedroom. That's a bad idea, im aware. But I can't think straight with her around. My bedroom isn't that big. It's pretty simple, with the walls painted a cute green color. The bed isn't even made, but I don't care much.

"Wow, you're showing me your bedroom already? I guess you wanted to skip a few steps. Im alright with that" She says, with a smirk in her voice.

I roll my eyes, but I don't say anything. I don't know how i'll deal with her.

"So. You want to say anything to me now? Why are you here anyway?" I sit down on my bed, and she sits on a chair in front of me. I see her scanning my room with admiration in her eyes.

"I already told you. We're soulmates" She turns back to look at me while saying this. I can't help but feel my face grow hot at these words.

"That doesn't explain anything. What are you? You said you weren't human" I mean, at this point, I have to believe her. She's too beautiful to be real.

"My code name G-32. Im a Nari. An improved specie designed after human females. We have a lot of powers that human don't and.. something else." She says that like it's nothing. But I know that she's scared of sharing that information. I don't bother asking about the something else. Not now, anyway.

"Oh. Alright. And who created you? Why me?" I mean, I have the right to know, don't I?

"I can't really tell you. I just know that they have a lot of money. I was created there, and their plan for me was to find a mate, a soulmate, and try to live in the human society. They would have killed me if I hadn't." I have a feeling she might be hiding something, but I don't ask.

"And how are you sure that im your soulmate? Why me, and not someone else?" She still hasn't answered that question.

"Because I started having dreams about you. At a really young age. I saw you grow, make friends, live your life. I know you, like no one would. I can't tell you why. I can't tell you why it's you. All Naris are born to with a soulmate. We don't know why. Like with our incredible powers, there isn't an explanation" She looks at me, with her green eyes, so green, so beautiful.

I don't know what to say. I should probably be scared by her. I should probably run. I should call the police, tell her to leave.

But I don't. I look at her, and deep inside me, I know what she's saying is true. I don't know why, but life chose us to be together. I don't even understand what she is, what she can do, but I believe her. I believe what she says. And I know she wouldn't harm me.

"I believe you" That's all I have to say. And I mean it. I can see her eyes sparkling with joy, and I see her struggling not to jump to hug me. It's adorable, really.

"Im so... glad. I thought it would be harder than this." Genomia laugh, and her laugh is beautiful. I want to hear it again, and again, and again...

"What are we supposed to do now? Were are you going to go? What would my parents say? We barely know each other!" I can sense the panic rushing through me. Oh god, I did not think about this. What the hell am I supposed to say?
"Oh yeah I had dreams about this girl for a while and then she shows up at my house and apparently she was made my scientists, and we're soulmates? Yeah."

"Calm down. It's alright. We'll find something. We could always just.. leave? I could probably erase everyone's memories, they won't remember you, don't worry." I look at her. Is she serious?

"Wait.. leave?"
