I didn't say anything. I liked Alan a lot. Hell, I loved him. I loved how much he believed in me. How he kept me up, out of the darkness. I was about to answer when I saw someone walking towards us.

& Alan's POV &

Nable was quiet. My heart was breaking. I knew this would be a bad idea. Her gaze was focused behind me. She started to shake and closed her eyes tightly.

"Go away.." she whispered, letting go of my hands.

"I knew it.." I was heartbroken. I got up and started to leave, but it hurt even more.

"No! Alan! Wait!" Nabel called out, running towards me. I turned around and looked at her.

"I wasn't talking about you.." she said quietly looking at the ground.

At first a was thrown off. "Who the hell else would she be talking to?" Then I remembered what Tino had said, about Nabel's "friend". I felt a knot in my stomach.

"Were you talking to you "friend"?" I asked, emphasizing "friend".

"She's not my friend." Nabel snapped.

I rubbed the sides of Nabel's arms and rested my forehead on hers. I closed my eyes.

"Why would you want to date someone so useless?" she sighed, saying it quietly, obviously not wanting me to hear. My heart dropped.

"You are one of the strongest person I know Annabelle. Don't let her take that away. It will be hard, that's why you can't do it alone. I love you." I told her.

I pulled away. Her eyes were wide and she looked surprised.

"I-I-I love you too." she stuttered. Nabel wrapped her arms around my neck and pulled me close. Our faces were inches away, and I can feel our breath mixing.

"Yes, I will be your girlfriend."

Then she kissed me. I loved the taste of her lips and how they fit perfectly to mine. I didn't want it to ever end. Nabel was like my missing puzzle piece. I smiled through kiss. It was small, but enough to mend my broken heart inside. We pulled away and laughed.

"We should probably start heading back." I said. She nodded and helped me clean up, after I told her a million times that she didn't have to.

While we were walking back, Nabel was smiling at a text she got.

"Who's that?" I asked, a bit of jealousy in my tone.

"Grace, the girl I brought by the bus after the show."

I smiled. "That was incredibly sweet of you to do that for her." I said.

Nabel looked up and smiled. "It was brave of her to reach out to me in the first place." she said.

We were in the bus and instantly on the road again.

"Alan, I know this is weird, but will you sit in the bathroom and talk to me while I shower?" She asked shyly.

"Yeah, of coarse." I said.

"Okay don't look." she said. I turned around and covered my face. When I heard the shower curtain closed I sat down on the floor.

"So, who knew about tonight?" she asked sarcastically.

"Not even my brother?! He's going to kill me!" she whispered-screamed.

"Why?" I asked, confused.

"He would never approve of me dating one of his band members." she explained.

"Well, let's keep it a secret then." I said. She turned off the water.

"Are you turned around?" she asked. I smiled and turned around.

"Yup."

After she was dressed we went into her bunk and watched Breakfast At Tiffany's, then my favorite 500 Days of Summer.

Nabel lied her head on my chest and wrapped one of her arms around my waist. She started to shiver.

"Are you okay?" I asked.

"Yeah, I'm fine. I'm just a little cold." she said, still shivering.

I moved, causing her to get up and look at me. I grabbed at the hem of my sweatshirt, and she grabbed to stop me.

"Alan you don't have to give me your sweatshirt." she said, giving me the most serious look.

"But I want to, and I will." I said taking it off and helping to put it on her.

"Thank you.." she smiled and blushed. We got comfortable again and continued to watch the movie.

Towards the end I noticed Nabel had started to fall asleep.

I kissed the top of her head.

"Goodnight princess, I love you."

She stirred a little. "I love you."

And with that, I shut off the movie and fell asleep. With the one person that I loved the most wrapped in my arms. I was happy.
