I should have never ran off, but I was scared. I didn't want to break down in front of everyone again. Austin was in the hospital for his heart. We've lost our mom a few years ago from the heart disease, I couldn't lose Austin too.

Aaron and Phil were dancing and singing with some of the fair people, and Tino was with a group of fans. I dropped my phone, probably cracking it, but I didn't care. I just had to get away. Running out off of the fair grounds, I started walking through a big field, towards the highway. I didn't know or care where I was going, I just needed a place. A place to think, to cry. I couldn't face seeing Austin, I know he wouldn't want me seeing him at his weakest.

Finally, I made it to the side of the highway. I walked forever, contemplating if I should try and hitch a ride or something. Making sure there were no police cars around, I threw my hand up. After a few more miles, somebody pulled over and let get in.

"Thanks." I said closing the car door.

"Where are you headed?" the lady asked. I looked at her. For some reason, I feel like I've seen her around before. I don't remember where I'd seen her, but she looked really familiar.

"Do I know you?" I asked.

She stared at me, and started to drive again.

"I was about to ask you the same question." she laughed.

"You know, you shouldn't be hitch-hiking. There's a lot of creeps out there."

"Well, you shouldn't be picking up hitch-hikers. There are a lot of creeps out there." I said.

She smiled.

"I'm Katelynne."

Katelynne... Like Katelynne Quinn? Kellin's wife? No..

"You don't happen to know a Kellin Quinn do you?" I stared at her.

She laughed. "In fact I do! He's my husband."

"I knew it! I'm Annabelle." I said laughing along.

"Annabelle Carlile?!" she practically shouted.

"Yes ma'am!" I said.

"I've heard so much about you from Kellin and Vic! Especially Vic, he seems to talk about you a lot." she smiled.

"He's my best friend." I said.

"What are you doing wandering around the side of the highway?" she questioned, worry filled her voice.

I looked down and started to play with my hands.

"Annabelle, is everything okay?" Katelynne asked.

I continued to play with my hands.

No. I thought to myself. Tears started to form in my eyes. I felt Katelynne set her hand on my shoulder.

"Annabelle, it's alright." she said in a soothing tone.

"My brother in the hospital and it's the middle of the tour, and I can't handle all of this." I cried silently.

"Honey, you can't put all this stress on yourself. Let me tell you what, tonight you can stay will Kellin and I. I'm going to call on of the boys to come pick you up tomorrow and take you to see your brother. Kellin, Copeland, and I will come by a little later and visit." Katelynne said, rubbing my back to comfort me. I nodded my head.

When we arrived at the Quinn house, she gave me some clothes to sleep in.

"The bathroom is upstairs, the first door on the right. You can shower and everything. You can sleep in the spare bedroom that is across the hall from the bathroom." she smiled, handing me the clothes.
