Ruby's P.O.V.

I woke up the following day, I pushed my zebra printed comforter off of me and then I sat up. I got out of bed, walked to the bathroom to use the facilities. After I was done, I grabbed a change of clothes out of the box and then I started up the shower.

After I had showered, I got dressed and I decided to rummage through the boxes to get some of my things put away. When I got a box emptied out, I decided to head downstairs to get some breakfast.

I left my bedroom and trudged downstairs. I walked through the kitchen and started up some breakfast for myself which was a piece of toast, an egg and two pieces of bacon. After I finished cooking, I leaned against the counter and began eating. I hear footsteps approaching and I see that it's my twin Hunter. He walks in and opens up the fridge and he pulls a Monster out.

"So, got any plans for today?" Hunter asks.

I finished the piece of bacon I held in my two fingers and licked them.

"I plan on going out into town to look for a job." I reply.

"Really Ruby? Can't you just relax for a few days and get your stuff unpacked?" Hunter asks.

I just shrugged my shoulders and then I turned the faucet on to wash the dishes. After cleaning the dirty dishes, I wiped them down with a cloth.

"I'll get bored and go crazy with nothing to do." I answer.

I put the clean dishes into the cabinet and folded the cloth.

"I'm going to go get ready to leave." I tell him.

I head back upstairs and into my bedroom. I pulled out a clean pair of socks from a box and then I grabbed my sneakers and put both things on. I grabbed my handbag that was on my dresser and left my bedroom. I walked down the hallway to Duke's room to grab the keys to his truck. I opened his door and saw that he was pulling on a shirt.

"What's up Ruby?" Duke questions.

"Can I borrow the keys to your truck?" I ask.

"Their on the dresser. Just don't ruin the truck please." He replies.

I grabbed them and walked out of his bedroom. I stopped at the doorway and turned around.

"Could you let dad know that I'm heading out to grab applications?" I ask.

"Yeah, of course. Have fun job hunting." He says.

I walked downstairs and I looked into the kitchen and saw my twin eating a pop tart. I waved at him when he noticed I was staring. I opened the front door and was blinded for a few minutes by the glaring sunlight. I closed the door behind me put my sunglasses on and went to the truck.

I got inside, backed up out of the driveway and drove away. When we first drove into town, I had seen a music store so I knew that, that would be the first place I checked. I got to the music store and parked in a spot. I got out of the truck and went to the door.

I opened it and walked in.  I took my sunglasses off and tucked them into a pocket on my handbag. I was going to go up to the register but there was a line so I decided to browse through the CD's. I was flipping through some when I felt a presence standing beside me.

I turned my head to look at the man who was very handsome by the way and he was wearing a lanyard around his neck. I wanted to look at the lanyard to see what was clipped to it but I wasn't going to. I didn't want this man to think that I was checking him out.

My wolf Rose snapped me out of my daze; I noticed that she was very tense and alert at this man. I asked her why she was acting like that and she tells me that the man is a werewolf as well. I wanted to get the hell out of the store but I held my ground and stared back at this man.

"Can I help you?" I ask.

"I was supposed to ask you that. My name is Ryan, I'm the owner of the music store." He replies.

I took a deep breath. "I was hoping to get an application." I say.

"I'll go grab one." Ryan tells me.

I went back to browsing through the albums and I had found two that I had wanted when a piece of paper was put in front of my view. I grabbed it and turned to the right to see Ryan once again.

"Here you go." He says.

"Thank you." I reply.

Ryan walks off then walking over to some people who looked lost. I took the two CD's I found and then I looked over at the register and saw that there wasn't anyone in line so I went over to it. As I was paying for my things I realized that I would have to keep it a secret from my family that I might be working for another werewolf shifter.
