A small group of survivors from all over the world had just entered the camp. Just a group of 6. 1 Canadian, 2 American, 2 Russian and 1 Japanese. Luckily, they had been found in America, most of them either on holiday in the area before the apocalypse started or some kind of trip to America.
"Wow, this place is kinda cool!" One of the Americans decided to gasp out, rather intrigued. His name was Jamie Peterson. He had short, light blonde hair and periwinkle eyes along with a grey coloured beanie hat placed onto his messy hair. He wore a casual outfit consisting of a grey t-shirt with a blue and white checked jacket over and onyx black trousers complimented with soot black converse.
"There is no need to start being excited over the camp." The other American responded, rolling his eyes. His name was Harry Roberts. He had soot black hair and darkened deep brown eyes that looked shaded along with a pair of glasses that fit his face perfectly. Unlike Jamie, he was relatively 'calm and collected'. Though he wore a plain white t-shirt with a mud brown bomber jacket over it with black trousers and trainers.
"Hey, Look at that person. They're training all by themselves" One of the Russian twins exclaimed. The younger by a few minutes. Though, the two girls were twins, you could easily tell them apart as the eldest twin (Natalia Meria) had short, snow white hair and bulging violet eyes whilst the younger twin (Katyusha Meria) had longer matching white hair and violet eyes. Though her hair was longer, it wasn't too long and just surpassed her shoulders in a ponytail.
The group proceeded to look over at the girl who was training just as she jumped up and easily decapitated 3 targets in a row in one swift movement with what seemed like a regular long sword. The Canadian - Matthew Jolie - whistled, rather impressed by the feat. He nodded as he was impressed and smirked, crossing his arms. The rest of the group cheered though, that wasn't a good move seen as the girl heard them, simply scowling more than before and walking away.
"It seems that girl isn't too social" The Japanese girl - Sachiko Tsuma - declared. Though, she tended to slip up on a few words and mistaking some of the pronunciations for 'r's. Though, nobody seemed to mind, obviously used to it, it was hard to pick up on the English language and luckily because they had all been in America, they all at least knew some English, if not fluent in it.
The group was then lead to the bunkers by a soldier and chose their beds. There was one at the back that was already taken. The one in the corner and everything laid around it was very neat and organised. "Who do you think that bed belongs to?" Jamie asked the tiny group. Everyone shrugged as a response until the girl from before trudged into the bunker and marched toward the bed, without addressing the new group.
"Guess it belongs to her" Katyusha responded, grinning. She inspected the girl, she was very beautiful though, she seemed to not smile an awful much but that was understandable due to chaos of the apocalypse. The group nodded in agreement, all watching her as she completely ignored them and got out a book, beginning to read it in the corner.
Jamie grabbed Harry and marched over to her, wanting to strike up a conversation with her. "Well, hello there!" He cheered, pulling Takano beside him as he saw the girl look up from behind her book. "What's your name, if i have the right to ask you?" Saka asked, rather politely for him.
"Alice" Was all the girl replied with. A short, blunt and simple response. She then focused her eyes back onto the book she had been reading before Jamie had rudely interrupted her. Her voice was angelic even though it had subtle hints of coldness inside of it.
"Well, Alice. That's a nice name!" Jamie responded. "It's nice to meet you!" He added, politely as he offered to shake her hand to pull it back when he didn't shake his hand in respect but instead glared at him.
"If you may, can i return to reading my book, it's rather interesting" Alice responded, not wanting to converse with Jamie.
"What's the book about?" Harry interrupted, looking genuinely curious as he knelt down to her, awaiting her answer to his question.
"It's about a young girl who attempts to pursue her dreams of becoming a huntress along with her friends and older brother who wished to become a hunter" Alice explained, briefly and perfectly before returning to silence once again.
"That sounds rather interesting" Harry responded, nodding his head as he spoke out of habit. Alice raised her right eyebrow in curiosity at how keen he seemed of books and smiled slightly, luckily no one saw due to her hiding her face behind the book.
"Yes it is. It has a similar atmosphere as a manga or anime and i like that about it" She stated, looking down towards the pages of the book. "The vivid description and perfect imagery is able to make me forget what's happening around us and make me feel safe if only for just a few minutes" She added.
"That sounds wonderful" Harry responded, smiling at Alice obliviously. He didn't realise he was smiling and it was only when Jamie pointed it out when he stopped and flushed a crimson colour and brought heat to his tanned cheeks. The rest of the group just laughed and Alice couldn't help but let a slight giggle escape her once frowning lips.
