Age Of The Apocalypse

Chapter 1

Chemical wars have had their moments in history but not as severe as an apocalypse...until now. The nightmare began when chemical were dropped onto a nuclear power plant in Russia by mistake, leaking out all kinds of malicious compound viruses and chemicals. One of which was named the 'Undead C16 virus'. The apocalyptic virus. Everyone who died from that point on would become a 'walker'. A zombie. Though, severe head injuries would stop them from turning. It was a disaster and in a matter of a few days, more than half of the world's population had turned into zombies with one desire, to eat human flesh.

Hastily, governments from all kinds of countries came to a quick solution. To use a small, island country as a safe place to camp, keep people safe and train to eliminate the undead. They chose England due to the country being rich, an island and small. It was perfect and easily accessible. With that, they proceeded to annihilate every zombie in England, and so they sent soldiers from all around the world. Unfortunately, out of the entirety of England, there were only 6 survivors. One included a silent yet skilled young girl. A girl with blissful and glossy golden hair and island blue eyes that bore into the eyes of every one else yet looked clouded with thought. She was always silent and never spoke. Her facial expression never differed from a scowl and she was always seen armed and training in the training area. She was an excellent fighter against the undead. 

After the camp was successfully set up, the soldiers from all around the world set off to evacuate survivors to the camp, instantly from America due to the quick and easy access. England was the country to only have less than 10 civilian survivors left but this also accounted for the fact England is but a very small country. After a while, the American survivors made their way into the camp, all getting treated and helped to see if they were okay and healthy. Though the camp was the safest place, it still had it's problems including the fact that with so many people gathered there, if somebody suddenly died and turned, attacking the others, there would be a giant problem. 

Unfortunately, due to America being such a large country, it was impossible to find and evacuate everybody and kill every zombie there and so it was highly likely that they had left quite a lot of survivors there without noticing. Along with Russia and Canada, there was a giant problem. The countries were too large to scout it was theoretically impossible to kill every zombie on the face of the earth but as long as they could perhaps derive the undead of their food they may go weak after a long time, making it easier to attack them in the future.

With that idea, the scientists and governments stuck to the idea of search and rescue as a crucial program to try and find as many survivors as possible. However, the troops were easily and quickly downsized every time they went out looking for survivors especially when they got trapped in a mass of zombies. They would lose many soldiers due to zombies biting or scratching them. Some soldiers were lucky to get bit on the arm or leg and could survive and get the limb amputated. That wasn't great but at least they would survive. 

And so, the survival camp housed many survivors. It was a great idea however, the thought of conflict between the survivors was high due to the anguish and problems the virus and apocalypse greeted everybody with.

That is where the story begins...
